N	Nell Dover on Google ★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Have been sailing from Tobermory to South Bay mouth for over 40 years with my family. I am very disheartened to have been given loyalty points on my account, applied it to my most recent sailings only to receive a phone call telling me they've discontinued the program and are not honoring the points I applied at time of booking and had amounts owing. First off, completely illegal to do this. Second you are going to be losing a large number of customers as they find out including my extended family and friends. This will be affecting the tourism industry on Manitoulin Island as well due to your greed.
J	Joseph O'Gorman on Google ★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Very good way to get to the island! Better than spending the 2 hours driving and its a great view when it's not raining. Make sure to book ahead, and getting there early helps when you're getting off the boat.

b	brenda jackson on Google ★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Spent 2 days in Tobermory then onto the Chi Cheemaun ferry to Manitoulin island. Lovely trip! Nice little place with many motels and lots of things to do. The ferry experience was awesome and I loved it.

Booked on line thought they were wanting length of my trailer but apparently not they wanted length of my trailer with car so ended up costing just over $180 to cross, double what I thought, had to pay the difference before loading. Not really worth it. Signage to launch is terrible you have to enter where it looks like hotel parking. There was no direction on how to find the exits from the parking area. It was beautiful looking off the ferry other than that the ferry has nothing charming to offer. So just an update they did over charge me I did get some money back our crossing should have been $118 and they are going to reimburse $70. Im still not 100% satisfied I think for the rude ladies at the gate and over charging me more should have been done. Makes me wonder how many others have been over charged and not noticed ? pay attention to your receipts people
B	Barbara Patterson-Smith on Google ★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Smooth sailing- right from getting in line, boarding, and the voyage itself. Covid protocols in place. Lots of indoor and outdoor seating. Can only take water on board - no coffee! Restaurant is not currently open. Departure was right on time and this is an easy way to get to manitoulin island. Ordered tickets on line and we arrived on time (7:45) to the ferry dock. Spent quite a while in line and then were told at the last ticket booth that we were late (after spending 30+ minutes in line ups) and that our tickets were valid only an hour before departure and he hoped we could still get on board! (Thanks, buddy!) We did get on the boat and when I looked at our reservation, no where did I see that the tickets expire before sailing time!
M	Mel C on Google ★ ★ ★ ★ ★ If you live in or visit Ontario, you should definitely experience the ferry to Manitoulin Island from Tobermory. The ferry itself is great to explore from all levels (driving on and off was a cool process). The food services/ museum is closed due to Covid-19. The views on the water were mesmerizing and the trip itself was serene and felt like a cleanse for the mind and soul. Even on the warmest of days I would recommend bringing a wind breaker or sweater gets windy and chilly

The views from inside the ferry and from the deck are spectacular. The staff are friendly and we had a fun time. No trip to the area is complete without checking out this historic ride.
