★ ★ ★ ★ ★ The owner, who was making the food in the kitchen, was NOT wearing a mask, at all! Another staff member making the fries had her mask under her chin. It’s totally disrespectful to the clients and it’s disgusting. We are still in a pandemic and this is unacceptable, especially in the food industry. There’s even a sign on the entrance door saying “mask obligatoire” … the irony.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Hamburger was so small, even at MCD they bigger. And debit cards are not accepted, cash only they tell you after making an order. ATM charge is $1.75,which probably operated by owner. First and last time visiting, was a mistake.

The owner is always working and he is very nice and polite. He always makes sure that our food is excellent. We have tried a lot of different food and were never disappointed plus the poutine ALWAYS comes in a huge size which is Fantastic lol .?

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Ordered a cheeseburger bacon and I have no clue what was in the meat, but I almost broke my tooth twice on really hard crumbs! I think it may have been some bone fragments from the meet or something! The little chunk was white and resembled a bone fragment. I threw the burger away as I was really grossed out! I’ll never go back to that restaurant!

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Our family favourite for steamies! The best dogs in town by far, and I love the fries as well - drenched in vinegar and sprinkled with salt of course! Have been coming here for a long time and have brought many friends along with me over the years... they always leave satisfied! 10/10

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Best fries ever! I have no idea what they do with their fries but I have tried fries just about everywhere else and none of them even come close to Gerard's! (Tip: Put some fries on your hot dog, you won't be disappointed!) We are regulars here and the staff knows us well. On that note, the staff is always friendly and accommodating and the food is always great!

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ I seriously don’t understand what all the bad reviews are about. I honestly love this place to death! The workers and chef are so sweet. I usually always take the combo 5 and the poutine sauce is amazing! Their fries are naturally cut by the workers. And the food are always fresh. My partner and I always come to Chez Gerard every week because it’s that good! I recommend eating in store because it just tastes better!
