Cons-everything was done last minute despite my 10 day lead up time, leaving me 6 hours to get the bank drafted. Pros- they will email me a copy before signing to check for mistakes. For young people- they do work extremely hard.
K	Kaman Kwok on Google ★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Cheryl Kwok and Office handled two real estate transactions for the sale and purchase of my old and new home this year. The level of service they offered is rather disappointing. The closing of the sale of my apartment was on Sept 10. On Sept 16 I contacted Cheryl to send me the closing statement so I can review the calculations and to make sure the sales proceeds I received was correct. No response. On Sept 23 I followed up with Cheryl again. Still no response. Out of desperation I emailed both Cheryl and her general info email address. She called and explained that she would not receive emails from her direct email (not sure why as I was able to reach out to her before) and saying that now they don’t provide closing statements until tax filing time - this has become the new practice of her clients - I’m definitely not happy with the reasons as she made assumptions to assume all clients are like that. Yes. Her office liked to make a lot of assumptions in preparing the closing calculations like mortgage repayment and mortgage borrowing etc. While I told my realtor about the legal fees as charged by Cheryl’s office, she said it’s about 20% higher than others. I am okay to pay a higher fee if her office can offer comparable service and attention to details. However the experiences are far from satisfactory. I do not need additional stress in dealing with the buying and selling of real estate so I do not recommend her service.

I recently had an urgent purchase closing in 6 business days. I asked if she can take it on at the last minute on a Friday evening. She replied instantly and we chatted about the file. Her office reached out to the client on the next day, Saturday! There is no back and forth, no guessing, no delays and no surprises. She sets up appropriate expectation and get things done accordingly. Highly recommend property owners / buyers, realtors, bankers and mortgage brokers to work with Cheryl!
