Dr. David Yang - OMSGroup Richmond - Richmond

First of all, I just want to mention how clean this facility is and that I appreciate how the staff strictly follow their COVID-19 safety rules. I came here for wisdom teeth extractions and I was super satisfied with how they proceeded. I had Dr. David Yang talk me through the procedure and he covered everything I needed to know in a diligent manor that allowed me to understand easily. The surgery went by super quickly (as I was sedated), no issues and my cheeks/jaws hurt less than expected!! Love the staff here as well, receptionists are lovely and very accommodating. I'm recommending all my friends and family to this location !

I had three wisdom teeth extracted by Dr. David Yang a few days ago. Both I and my mom greatly appreciate Dr. Yang. He is caring, thorough, and professional in the explaining the care plan before and after the procedure. He even made a follow-up call to see how I was doing. He is one of the best oral surgeons we have seen. We highly recommend Dr. Yang!

I had all four wisdom teeth removed by Dr. Yang and it was as good of an experience as it could be. Dr. Yang made me feel at ease and went above and beyond in answering all my questions and communicating with me generally about the procedure. If you are looking for an oral surgeon, I cannot recommend him enough.

I was very nervous on arrival for 2 molar extractions but it turned out that it was a painless procedure. Dr. Yang explained everything before he started and then asked me several times if there was any pain, which there was none, only pressure as he had explained. The staff was very professional and kind and the procedure very quick.

Removed two wisdom teeth, very fast process, took less than 10 minutes. I’ve watched a few videos of wisdom teeth extraction for compare and contrast, Dr. Yang clearly did better than most of them. In addition, my wound healed up in about 24 hours, and swelling dissipated in 48 hours. Had pizza on the third day after my surgery.

Amazing service! My family dentist referred me to OMS group and told me that they are the best surgeons in Richmond. I wasn't disappointed. Before meeting Dr. Yang I was nervous because I was told that 2 of my widom teeth are tricky to remove (and that's why I got a referral). My mom had a horrible experience when she had her wisdom tooth removed so that's making me very anxious. Dr. Yang explained clearly to me what is expected to happen during and after the surgery, and what they will do to remove my "tricky" wisdom teeth. My lower wisdom teeth have caused occasional infections and pains over the past 2 years so I wanted to get rid of them ASAP. The receptionists were very nice and offered me a cancelled spot, which was 6 days after the first appointment. Before the surgery started I was very nervous as I have heard about how bad and painful it is after the extraction and how people would behave "silly and unconscious" due to the anesthesia. I got knocked out several minutes after they started the anesthesia process, and waked up about 35 min after. Aside from feeling slightly sleepy, I was able to walk, think and talk normally. I even went shopping in Aberdeen by myself right after the surgery. I felt like I took a nap and didn't feel anything during the process. It was quite painful after the numbness is fading and the gums started swelling. But the bleeding wasn't bad and I was able to eat liquidy food several hours after the surgery. It is day 2 now, the swelling is a bit worse, but with the help of painkillers the pain is manageable. I can talk quite normally and go to work. I still can't chew now but I hope the swelling will go away soon. Overall this is a pleasant experience and I am happy that I got Dr. Yang to do my wisdom teeth extraction :)

Once again guys, trust these Google reviews! I was referred to Dr. Yang for my wisdom teeth extraction. The consultation was good and smooth, Dr. Yang explained everything thoroughly. He is also very patient so feel free to ask him any questions, and by golly, so young too! Lol. I went for my extraction yesterday. I had two upper wisdom teeth removed. It was a breeze! I can't believe I said that because I was so nervous. Lol. Anyway, it only took half an hour. Dr. Yang and his assistant were very gentle and professional. I did not feel any pain post-surgery. Lucky me! Dr. Yang even took his time to call me and ask me how I was doing (btw, I thought it was a scam call, thank goodness I picked it up) :)). Needless to say, Dr. Yang and his team are AMAZING! I even got another follow-up call this morning to ensure I was okay. I'm a huge fan of Dr. Yang, now all I have to do is persuade my son to see him. :)

Amazing experience. I had the privilege to be referred to OMS group, so from booking the consultation to scheduling an appointment, it was seamless and fast. Dr. Yang was super informative and calming. I’ve had a horrible experience previously from my right side wisdom teeth removal and tried to wait out as long as I can for my left side removal. He assured me Id be in great hands and won’t experience what I’ve had before, and he was not wrong! Whole process was easy and smooth, I’m still on my second day of recovery but haven’t needed to use pain killers which took me by surprise. What really stood out was the follow up phone call he had given me to assure I was doing well, it really showed that he truly cares about his patients and would take the extra step to make sure everything is good. 100% recommend.
