We found the host to be very discourteous and unpleasant. There was no coffee maker, and he showed his annoyance when we asked for one. The cabin was also swarming with bees outside when we were trying to eat our dinner. The host recommended we stay in the cabin until the sun goes down. Cabin was so hot during the day, so we couldn’t be in there. Would not recommend staying for any reason.

We really enjoyed our stay! The view the beach, the cabins. Dan was great to deal with and very friendly. Would recommend this place to anyone. Located not far from hot springs. Thank you to Dan and family for making our first family vacation one to remember!!! We will be back!

What an amazing experience. The owners were very welcoming and kind, it felt like home, great privacy. Cabins were clean and beds were comfortable. They provided clean towels, soap and shampoo and clean drinking water and all the necessities for the kitchen. The beach was a bit of a walk away from the cabins but it was nice to walk a bit in the forest. Great price great place. Thank you Kathy, we had an amazing time.

Very comfy beds. We had seven people. Can’t beat the price for the number of people. New fridge and stove. They were so helpful. Brought us a new coffee maker, a flipper, and jumped my car! Be sure to bring own towels and toiletries or arrange in advance for them. A pretty quick drive into town. Check out Cody Caves. Cool!

Quaint cabins nestled in the mountains just outside of Kaslo, BC. The cabins had everything essential, including bedding, towels, all your kitchen essentials, including a coffee maker and coffee bean grinder, personal BBQ on the deck with propane, etc. Dan the host is a very laid back, wonderful person. He respected our privacy, but made himself available at all times to answer any questions or concerns we had. Check in was an absolute breeze. The host's dog, Spot, was a lovely addition to the place. Spot roams the grounds freely and got along with our little poodle very well. Spot is a boarder collie I believe, and listens extremely well. Cherry Cove met all of our expectations and then some! We definitely recommend this place to anyone with children or couples looking to get away with friends or just themselves. The pricing cannot be beat. FYI, the Kaslo Front Street Market is a quick 7 min drive from the cabins and has all the essentials, grocery, pharmacy, liquor etc.

We arrived at Cherry Cove Cabins to find, well, no one. There was no office and no one to check us in. After a while "Jean" came up to us and asked if we were the new renters. We said we had a reservation for cabin 2b, an East facing cabin with a view of the lake. We were put in cabin 1a a west facing cabin with a view of a gravel driveway. The cabin lacked; coffee mugs, water glasses, a drain plug for the sink, an umbrella for the table on the deck, soap, and other amenities. I tried to contact Dan the host but he was partying down at the lake with a friend. I finally received a reply to my phone call the following day. I couldn't text or go online as there was no password to the wifi provided. In his reply Dan called himself " the worst host ever" The cabins were dirty, cobwebs, dead flies, dirty counters, floors and dining room table. The shower door was broken. On the upside the bed was comfortable and it was quiet at night. Eventually Dan brought over some coffee cups and a sun umbrella. He said sometimes guests move items from one unit to another. Shouldn't this be dealt with during the cleaning between guests? Although I suspect this was missed along with the cleaning.
