David is the third generation owner of this family-owned and operated Oakville company. We had quite a tricky problem after the removal of an old wood-burning fireplace chimney that was perforating our building envelope in 3 spots (out, in and out again). The original issue was pest invasion! Once this was taken care of, we needed repairs to a metal roof as well as repair to a wall with cedar shingle siding. Not a typical roofing job! The crew was very talented, very careful, clean and did a beautiful job. Communication was excellent and overall we are extremely pleased with the end result. The metal roof repair is very well hidden and the cedar shingle wall looks better than ever with much improved flashing and storm water controls which we didn't have before. This is not our first experience with Cherry & Hoyle, as we had a new asphalt roof replacement at our last house a few years ago with them which also went extremely well. At that time it was noted that our roof health could be improved with a ridge vent installation, which was installed without issue. The team worked seamlessly in conjunction with a skylight company in replacing an aged 'bubble' type skylight as well. Awesome company and people. Thanks again David! Mark & Karen

Their team did an amazing job creating the proper drainage away from the front brick and towards the scupper and down the downspout into the garden. They also made a very clean, seamless interface, of the sheet metal wrapping around the two corners. The restoration job looks great! Neat and tidy and dry as a bone.
