★ ★ ★ ★ ★ this food is so good and for such a good price it makes me question why I even go to any chain restaurant. Today's special was the beef keema dosai and the food was prepared fresh and it was lots of delicious food for a great price. the spice was perfect for me but make sure to tell them to go easy on the spice if you are sensitive to spicy foods, this should be expected from all authentic Indian restaurants. above all it feels great to support a local family owned business

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ I visited Chennai Dosai and had their lunch combo, this is the first time I had a chance to have Indian lunch combo in Western countries like Canada which is tasty as well as healthy. The food is prepared in a authentic homemade way and it tasted like the food prepared by my mom who is in India. I had a chance to have a conversation with the chef who was very humble and polite and explained to me about the way the food is prepared and health benefits in each dishes which helped in choosing a dish of my taste among the different varieties offered. The restaurant provided me a great ambience. I would highly recommend this restaurant to all my friends and will visit them most often for their unique dishes.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Authentic home cooked taste of South Indian food. We ordered chicken chukka, dosa and utappa for 2 and we still had a take away bowl. Highly recommended if you like authentic Indian food and dislike the excess cream that most Indian restaurants in Calgary/North America put in their food. You can take my word as I grew up eating authentic Indian food in india. Enjoy

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ My husband and I went to dine in on a Sunday evening. The best service, one could ask for. A lovely family owned business who is passionate in bringing authentic south indian flavours to Calgary. We ordered the chicken kizhi parotta, kozhi varutha curry with set dosai. They explained the special for the day "goat intestine curry" and my Caucasian husband was in love with that dish. They were very considerate about the spice levels and made our experience a truly memorable one.
Prices and portion sizes were very reasonable. We will be returning for sure.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ If you love South Indian food this is certainly a place you should visit. Dining experience may not be something to look forward to but great choice of food and good taste. For someone like me, would go for higher spice level next time. We have tried here twice and had consistent experience. Hopefully they will spruce up the space and dine in experience.
