Chaussures Semy

Apparently you can't try on shoes unless you're buying them and you're supposed to just trust that they're comfortable. Extremely rude and pretentious for no reason. Would not recommend. Some people are just not meant to work in customer service.

I have not had much experience purchasing shoes outside of big box retailers. Was blown away with the massive difference in quality of the product and knowledge of the ownership compared to my previous experiences. While it is expensive, the value is easily understood.

If only I can give 0. Disgusting customer service. I called to ask if they are opened and they told me to come by. Here is the list of excuses I was given as to not greet us into the store: 1- apparently, we need a surgical mask (I was wearing my satin mask). Fine, went to get one (in my car) since, very oddly enough, they do not give any to clients. 2- came back with my surgical mask, and was all of a sudden asked if I had an appointment. Apparently, we need an appointment. When I called and was given the ok to come by. Additionally, no indication is given on their website that an appointment is required. I asked the staff (Who spoke in a very snobby, very condescending way), if she can please show me where is that written on their site? She says: it is on their "infolettre". So basically, how would I know if was not subscribed to their famous "infolettre", I asked. She nods and says : "that is not my problem. " 3- was given the excuse that it is maximum 2 customers a time (when there was one customer in the boutique). 4- was told to wait outside and that they may, or may not take us in (even though the man over the phone told me to show up when I called before leaving my house) I travelled from the West Island during traffic hour to be told they cannot take us in as apparently we need an appointment when it is not written anywhere and when no one informed us so when we called. And this was said to us in the most condescending way you can speak to someone. They did not let us in. DO NOT GO there. Learn how to speak with respect.

Been a customer for many many years and nothing comes close when it comes to quality, workmanship & most wonderful service!! As a regular, I appreciate the fact that they take a limited amount of people in the store due to social distancing and really worth the wait to get in. Now I call & make an appointment beforehand & all works out great! Keep up the good work Semy shoes!!!!

Came in looking for wedding shoes for my elopement, being from ottawa we had a few stores on our list to try, there was no need! Natalie knew exactly what I was going for, they were also very comfortable for my big day with a quick jaunt through snow even. They will also ship merchandise out if requested, I will certainly be back for another pair of these heels in more colours.

The service and quality of product at Semy is unmatched. The staff is super friendly and patient - they take their time to help you find the right shoe that suits your needs and fits you best. The products at Semy are unlike any others I've seen in Montreal. There's a large variety of truly unique shoes and bags. The products are all high quality, it's immediately noticeable when trying on their shoes. A 5-star visit all around.
