★ ★ ★ ★ ★ My grandma was a resident on the longterm care side of Langley gardens. This Facility lacks adequate nursing care, lack of judgement in residents conditions and poor communication with families.
Medications are prescribed to residents that are not covered by pharmacare, even with a pharmacist on hand. No advocacy is done for alternative meds.
Sadly our grandma passed away alone without any family by her side. She had been deteriorating for days, yet we were only informed of her conditions hrs before she passed.
We were told by nursing staff she seemed tired and refusing meds yet her vitals were stable. When we got to Langley gardens she was unresponsive with apneic periods. She was clearly end of life, No advocacy was done for comfort care orders until family asked. Queens park if definitely a better choice.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ I've been living here at Langley Gardens for about a year now. I enjoy it here. I thinks this is the best place for elerderly seniors like me who wants to live peaceful and independent. I love that I'm still able to drive my car. I am able to drive everywhere. I have excellent service. The staff are wonderful, friendly and all helpful. I love that I am able to visit my wife on the third floor regularly. My wife is in good care.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ We are very appreciative of the professional, thoughtful and excellent assistance we receive from the Health and Wellness staff for my husband on a daily basis. Manager Irene Garcia is always helpful if adjustments are needed. Keep up the good work!
Our eight months as residents here have shown us we made the right choice for this stage of our lives. Many thanks to all staff!

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ We have had the most positive experience in moving our mom into Chartwell Langley Gardens in Walnut Grove. The 1-bedroom suite is bright and cheerful and already feels like home to our mom. The staff - especially Mia and Irene have been extremely helpful in making this challenging experience of moving so much better than we thought it would be. We also are so impressed with the kindness and friendliness of the residents that we have met during this process.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ I had a great experience when I visited Chartwell Langley Gardens for preceptorship orientation for me and my HCA students. The atmosphere was very welcoming. We were warmly greeted by the front desk staff, toured around the facility and oriented by the very accommodating and supportive Health and Wellness Manager Irene. The staff on the floor were very friendly. I noticed that residents were happy and contented. I will always remember the sweet smile on their faces.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ I have been living at Langley Gardens for 9 months now. So far, it's been really a great experience. I met new friends. I like the food. I enjoy the activities. It would be better though if we have more activities happening after supper. I look forward to our bus outings, always an enjoyable experience! I met our new Activities Manager, Alanna.
The staff are all so friendly and caring, from the hourly staff to the managers. I developed a special friendship with nurse Irene. She always has a friendly smile for everyone. Her office is right beside my beautiful suite. Our building is accessible to the pharmacy, doctor's and dental offices, restaurants, shops and thrift store and the mall. I will definitely recommend Langley Gardens to my friends and anyone looking to move to a retirement home.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Chartwell Langley Gardens is proving to be a great choice in terms of a care home for my 88 year old mother. She has been in the independent living area for almost 2 years. We have found Langley Gardens to be a perfect fit for my mother, she's very happy there. It's comforting to know that my mother is in a safe, well maintained care home with caring staff. A special shout out to Irene Garcia for all she does, Irene goes that "extra mile". She's wonderful and we appreciate everything she and the rest of the Langley Gardens' staff do for my mother. A highly rated care home for sure in my opinion.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ The staff make the difference! They have taken such good care of my father I can't thank them enough. They are kind, caring and dedicated. The last two years have been rough for those living in independent living and long term care but the staff have never stopped doing their best to make the resident's lives as fulfilling and enjoyable as possible. Huge shout-out to Irene and the entire care staff!
