L	Louise Martin on Google ★ ★ ★ ★ ★ I am so glad my mother agreed to give the Bowmanville Creek Retirement Centre a try. She booked for a trial-month in 2019; she liked it so much that she decided to move in. The staff here are wonderful, the suites are spacious and the residents are friendly. In non-COVID times there are all kinds of activities. During COVID, staff did their very best to entertain the residents. If you have ever thought that it might be time for your loved one to have less chores and more happiness, I strongly recommend you take your loved one on a tour and perhaps book a trial month stay.

She recently moved into assisted living from her independent living apartment and the care and love and attention that she is receiving by the staff is magnificent , On May 29 she celebrated her 101st birthday. Being amid the virus pandemic, family could not be with her but the staff at Bowmanville Creek went above and beyond what one would expect to make her day special . They curled her hair, painted her nails ,Dressed her in her best ,put a tiara on her head and a boa around her neck provided flowers and a cake and balloons at no expense to the family . . The entire staff with whom I have had dealings on behalf of my mom have become very dear to me . I can rest easy knowing that she is in the best place possible . Sent with gratitude and affection from the entire family .

I see there have been some complaints about the food but rest assured, with excellent management and highly trained staff, we are making great strides in the kitchen :)

They truly make this beautiful facility that much better. There are so many staff members that deserve to be recognized for going above and beyond for my family. I am so appreciative. Right from the very first visit in 2018 to this week when my Mother moved into an assisted living suite, I have been so pleased (and relieved). You will be too!
