Everyone is at the residence goes above and beyond to ensure that residents are safe, and that loved ones can stay connected. The facility is modern, spacious and purpose-built for the needs of its residents. Highly recommended.
D	Delie Souliere on Google ★ ★ ★ ★ ★ My mom moved in during the peak of covid which was a very trying time for everybody - chartwell did their very best at trying to keep some activities going while keeping all of the residents safe and healthy which was their number one concern. My mom received her vaccinations as soon as they were available and we were so thankful for the staff and what they did to keep her safe. My mom is very active and there are many activities every single day for her to enjoy indoors as well as day trips outside of her residence - all set up by chartwell. She loves all of the staff and is very comfortable and happy!

If they can’t fix it they will find someone on staff that can. They are also very friendly. Th housekeeping staf do a good job an th food in the dining room is vey good. Recreation have a lot of programs with quite Variety. I would recommend this place to anybody who I looking for place to live. Te residents are also very fixedly too

I was amazed how quickly the GM embraced my idea and was eager to create an even nicer ambiance for the residents. Emerald Hills is sunny, large, spacious with good energy flow. Even I would love to live there!
M	Marguerite Colborne on Google ★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Upon my arrival at Chartwell Emerald Hills Retirement Residence, I saw a well kept outside. Very neat and tidy. Nothing out of place. Once inside I was met by the receptionist Dawn. Dawn very nicely informed me of covid 19 rules and use of the mask. Then Dawn advised me she would inform Linda Miller, my Retirement Living Consultant, that I had arrived for my appointment. Linda Miller really loves her job. She is very well informed. If she could not answer my question, she would get in touch with another employee that knew the answer. Nothing was left with the answer , I will get back to you on that. Since I am on oxygen and I use a walker,Linda pick the best suite for me. I am right across from the laundry room. That really pleased me. Also the elevator is very close by. Linda Miller is a KEEPER. While I was on quarantine when I first moved in on Feb 23 2022 I had the pleasure of meeting Alana Barnett, Food Service Manager. I could tell by our brief talk that this lady works very hard at her job. I also noticed that when we are eating our meals,, Alana is out on the floor gathering dishes for the dish washer. Alana is also a keeper. There are lots of activities to keep your self busy. Never a dull moment. In closing I would not live any where else Thank you, Marguerite Colborne

She has a lovely two bedroom suite with large windows and a long view to three directions! We are very happy and have recommended this facility to others.

Our whole family has been treated so well from the first time we entered this beautiful place. All the Staff are friendly, happy and helpful. This says a lot as I believe employees who are happy at their jobs are reflecting how they are being treated and that transfer to their work and every resident who lives there and every person who enters. I could go on with so many details of are incredible journey, so far, but that would take up to much space. Choosing Chartwell Emerald Hills was the BEST DECISION EVER!

The suite is beautiful with large windows that are almost floor to ceiling, so there is lots of natural light. But more than a beautiful suite is the sense of community. Each day she looks forward to dinner with her friends. The staff have been wonderful. It seems they all know her by name -- from office / admin staff to cleaning staff. There are many different daily activities and events that she can take part in if she chooses. All in all, it has been a great move, for her and for us. We know she is well cared for and is enjoying her new adventure.
