★ ★ ★ ★ ★ This is a beautiful area, at the tail end of it the Champlain Parkway. We drove out along the parkway this afternoon. I will say most people are attempting to drive entirely too fast through the park - there are far too many hills and sharp turns to be going fast. Go slow and think about what you're doing people!
The lookout itself is stunning! It offers a great view of the Eardley Escarpment and a nice little trail that is down to one-way traffic...though there are enough people who seem to be incapable of noticing such things.
The lookout should be accessible to most people, especially in Wednesday, Saturday and Sunday afternoons when you can drive to the lookout. Despite what Google Maps says, it is open.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ The highest look out in the park. Probably one of the best views of Ontario from Quebec. A short drive from the parliament buildings in down town Ottawa brand new and renovated seating for all to enjoy. Very clean. Alot of cyclists on the road aswell

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Renovated (Apr 2021) the main wall has been completely rebuilt and stone benches have been added at the main viewing area. A popular destination for cyclists and tourists; there are interpretive plaques that explain the area. Outhouses available off the parking lot.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Beautiful lookout from the Gatineau Hills over the Ottawa Valley. A perfect spot to catch the fall colors or just to see the area. The area has recently been redone with a lovely facelift. A must visit if you're coming to Ottawa area.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Truly amazing views of the surrounding countryside. If possible, visit the area during the week to avoid the weekend crowds. Parking is quite limited.
There is a trail under 2km that loops through the trees from the lookout to the parking lot. This trail is easier to hike "downward" rather than upward. To hike downward, enter the trail using the stairs at the edge of the lookout wall

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ It's the best place to see the sunset, only in summer and is closed in winter. There is a small trail which I think is just over a km long and is very nice. There is a beautiful viewpoint on the trail. I don't think you want to miss it.
