I was able to get a map book and large format map for the remote area I was traveling to. They have gold panning gear as well as other useful items for the outdoor enthusiast.

I rolled down my window and told him that I would come back the next day, but asked if he had a certain life jacket. He did...and led me back into the store so I could purchase it. They always seem to have cool items that you may not see in other places. I purchased a gold pan, for example...and wax for my dogs feet one winter. Very friendly and helpful.

It’s one of my absolute favourite outdoors stores because they have a great variety of interesting camping accessories. They also laminate large items; we got a map of Quetico Park done so we could explore different trip routes using dry erase markers. Excellent products are one thing, but what really makes this place exceptional is the warm, friendly, accommodating and helpful customer service. They really know their stuff, and they make every visit a good experience.
