★ ★ ★ ★ ★ My kids and I go to Cha Yuan as theirs (and mine!) after school treat, and it's been lovely to see this local neighborhood bubble tea shop continue to grow in business and variety. They're always happy to talk about different flavours and tweaks, and we've watched the shop expand from mostly teas, to gelato, to non-caffeinated fruit drinks, and now even bubble waffles. Our usual favourites: mango slush, roasted oolong milk tea, oreo latte slush, and both the mochi, and the cheese & bacon, bubble waffles. We can't wait to see what else they'll try next!

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ I made a special request for a Lychee milk tea, an order that isn't found found in Canada but is fairly common in Europe. Cha Yuan made the order and it was delicious! I will definitely be ordering here again, and hope that they add this to their regular menu someday.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ My husband and I visited for the first time today and were very excited to find a bubble tea shop that offers oat milk (and at no extra charge, which is awesome). We're big bubble tea enthusiasts and have tried a ton of drinks and a ton of different places.
I had the Hojicha milk tea with oat milk, and thought it was pretty good. Hojicha could have been a little bit stronger, but it was one of the better Hojicha bubble teas I've had compared to some other local places. Pearls weren't anything special but they were fine.
Unfortunately my husband was unable to finish his Coffee Milk Tea after a few sips. I gave it a try and thought it tasted pretty bad, not really like coffee, and the powdered milk had a strangely nutty taste to it. I think they would be better off using fresh espresso and milk rather than powders. An espresso-based oat milk latte with brown sugar pearls would be nice to see on the menu.
Other than that, the staff was very friendly and helpful. I'd like to give Cha Yuan another try with some of the other drinks, so I can hopefully come back and give a better review.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ BEST BUBBLE TEA EVER!! I’ve been going there for a year (since dec 4th 2020) and I love it there, there ice cream is amazing too. I would definitely recommend for a delicious experience! I love the original milk tea with less sugar, less ice and brown sugar pearls added. My family also loves it! There bubble waffles are also so yummy. Definitely will never stop coming and supporting.
