I got an out of province safety and my winter tires put on. The lady at the front desk was awesome to deal with and all the staff were professional and friendly. Definitely recommend.

On recently moving to BC from Alberta I had to have my two vehicles safety inspected before registration could happen. Appointments were made for each one over two days. Booking of appointments with front desk was handled very efficient and friendly. The same pleasant and professional attention to detail was experienced in house. My older 2002 vehicle didn’t come back with a huge laundry list of repairs needed, just a blown out bulb and new wiper blades, as I expected. Very cleaned and efficiently run operation. Highly recommended, if you want excellent service at a fair price.

The owner is extremely knowledgably. They were able to find what another shop couldn't and fix it quickly despite being understaffed and busy and right before the long weekend. Highly recommend.

Avoid Certified Auto. I came in with a loud banging coming from the transmission. They told me to replace it and that’s all they could do. I told them it was shifting fine on the way over and if the transmission needs to be dropped either way then check the oil pan for flakes (sign of transmission gone) Sure enough fluid came out fine so transmission stayed and instead the flex plate is what needed to be replaced (right there a savings in the thousands if I would have taken their word for it) When it was time to get the vehicle due to sitting for too long in the middle of winter the batteries were dead (no fault of their own). I asked for a quote for higher quality AGM batteries (truck takes 2) the quote was for over 1200$. Called around in town and couldn’t find a price for AGM battles that exceeded 675 (and can’t imagine install costing 525$.. took 10 minutes to do it myself) Finally, when I went down to get my vehicle the insulation from under the hood was in my back seat. When I asked what it was doing there the technician tried to claim that it was there when I brought it to them, and made sure to mention they could fix it for a price… unbelievable that they would lie about something so obvious that they did. They ended up fixing the tab that holds it in place after a week, something that should have been automatic. And now today I just found out through another mechanic and double checking my receipt that they put in cheap multi vehicle transmission fluid in after they dropped the pan instead of what OEM calls for and it’s not negotiable or a recommendation, it’s vital for the type of transmission. Don’t make the same mistake I did, avoid Certified Auto.

Been coming here since moving to the Westside. The most I've had done is the basic oil changes, filters and tire swaps. Always speedy service. I never feel like I'm going to be taken advantage of. I also love how I am able to easily make an appointment online. The only thing I would recommend is to update the online price of the seasonal tire swap. I got mine done thinking it was $39.95 but the price ended up being $44.95.

I went here for an out of province inspection. After all of the horror stories I have heard from others with having to do this process I can say this was incredibly painless. I got an appointment for the next business day, it was done within a couple of hours and extremely reasonably priced. Thank you for a headache free experience and excellent customer service!

They were so wonderful . They made sure that my car was in top running condition before returning . They were more than reasonable with what they charged me for the many hours they had to spend on my car. I would definitely recommend this very professional , experienced and friendly Auto repair shop for any minor or major repairs.
