★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Coming from a family of retired hair dressers this is one salon I feel like my hair is in good hands. Super clean and always able to get an app when needed. I recommend centrix and Sam for my hair needs. Highly recommended

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ The girl working destroyed my hair.
After speaking with the owner and explaining that a) I asked if the girl knew how to thin thick hair. b) explained I was in a wedding in a week and wanted to keep my length, just needing a thinning because I had so much of it , and c) was assured by the girl I'd lose no length and she was going to thin it with " wispy layers ".
The salon owner proceeded to completely agree with me, it was aweful, she cut off all my hair and I told him I now needed to buy extensions for the wedding I was standing in.
He said to bring them to him and he'd blend them. I declined as I had another hair apt the next day to fix this mess an much as possible. I voiced to Sam that the girl should be paying for the extensions
He agreed! Said bring him the receipt. The next day I do as I'm asked and he tells me, he fired the girl and I have to go through his insurance.. fine .
Tried that. All 3 times I called nobody returned the call, and on the final one they said they spoke to the owner ( 2 weeks ago) and told him he had to file the claim. That he clearly just figured I'd let go.
When I approached him he acted surprised and said he knew nothing of it.
It's been 3 weeks. Your hair is your identity and you trust a salon with a basic job
I feel centrix needs to follow through and make it right. I am heavily dissapointed and if he refuses to fix the issue well then I really feel this is an appropriate public warning. Not mentioning the outright rudeness of the other Male working in the salon when I went back there to ask for the manager. He tried to pass off he was the manager to save me from telling the owner.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Last week I booked an appointment for today at 5pm for a cut and color with a stylist I had seen once before.
When I arrived she was told me she was going to be putting foils in a client's hair and asked me to come back in 45 minutes. I did...after I phoned my husband to rearrange our dinner plans for my birthday.
I decided to wait because I knew I needed to get my hair done this week with a number of important business meetings coming up this week. When I went back they were going to pass me on to someone else to do my color because she wasn't ready for me.
Seriously, why bother making an appointment. I didn't bother waiting any longer. As a business owner and busy professional I won't be back.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Excellent cut and color. The stylist at this shop clearly have experience and you walk out of there knowing you have a good haircut. Prices are reasonable even with covid19 prices. I appreciate the precautions they have taken so I feel safe going there.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ I've been a client at Centrix since I was 13. I'm now 34 and can honestly say I've never left this place unsatisfied. It turned out that each time I went, which is not often I ended up with someone new. Maybe by chance or cuz it's an apprenticeship program. Sam is passionate about the industry and I appreciate this. Not sure if it's that I luck out every time, but I do believe he hired great stylists. Had about 3 stylists save my hairs life after i diy destroyed it!! Great place!

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ I asked for a haircut, some blonde highlights and straight my hair at the end. Any of these she made it right, I had blue, yellow, gray, orange on my hair , the hair cut nothing like what I asked and she couldn't even straighten properly, when I left I realized my hair was wet still, so is terrible to straighten when your hair is wet, she could have damaged, and of course was looking terrible! The atmosphere is bad too, the employees seems pretty mad with the owner and they talk about that with me. I would never come back there!

I have tried 3 different stylists in the salon and am thrilled to of found Janan she was professional, kind and really took the time to make me feel valued and heard. Without a doubt Janan gave me the best hair cut and colour I’ve had in years ! I would very highly recommend Centrix hair to anyone looking for a great place for your hair ... ask for Janan?
