Having another women doctor tell me it never happened because I never reported being trafficked 5 years ago hurt more than anything else. All of you say come back if you need help. I did so many times and every time I was given sleep medication to keep me silence. That is the problem. That is the real issue. That creates fear and more women to stay quiet when in reality they just need some help. I needed help but denied. CAMH needs to have more informed doctors on trauma - CPTSD. I've never seen such a disgusting mental health service in all my life.

They also released private information of a family member to me without my family members consent. Awful service. If you’re considering coming here as a last resort call 911 instead.
G	Guss vivas on Google ★ ★ ★ ★ ★ I went today for first time to the Emergency At Queen St Toronto, I wasted more than 4 hours for one of the worst places to go if you need mental health and care , don’t go there , if you don’t want to feel worse. So unprofessional , careless , and rude Doctors , specially the Asian girl internship , this “Doctor” that you will see after 4 hours , those kind of students and others will call themselves psychiatrist tomorrow and work in Hospital , is just ridiculous , this place should be closed!!!! Don’t go there !!!! Ask for help in another place ! They should be ashamed for what they are doing , create more trauma to humans , very sad and nobody cares !!!!
A	Anonymous Invalid on Google ★ ★ ★ ★ ★ I was having my blood pressure checked by a female doctor with dark hair about 5'4" to 5'7" during which I told her it hurts and she said that's normal, Ever since then I have had sharp and dull pain there as a result. The investigation that found there to be discrimination towards patients is accurate and I would be weary, Not everybody there is evil though, In fact most of them are very nice.
S	Shannon Karr on Google ★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Well here is some information on the procedures of CAMH Bridging Clinic. Daughter has mental health issues, 6 months on & off of support system. On site visits with diffident medical team members, prescription drugs support, phone appointment communication with medical staff support. As all people know who have dealt with mental health family members & individuals, they will fluctuate medications, visits, etc. Even after hospitalization from self harm/overdose, and previously suggested by medical team that they help with ODSP medical forms applications; today my daughter was denied their request and told “well to bad figure it out and find a family doctor in Ontario to fill it out”. This is a joke and shows you the state of mental health care and real support to help the individuals who need it. CAMH you should be ashamed of your professional decision to make a vulnerable individual continue to suffer by restricting ODSP funding/ income support . I go above and beyond in my employment and help my community when ever possible, CAMH is one of the biggest Mental Health Organizations in Ontario and I wonder how many other people are suffering based on their own personal biases. CAMH tried! CAMH failed! I hope other families and individuals have a better outcome.

If you are not rich good luck getting any sort of mental health help in Canada. This place is horrible and is supposed to be the best place to get mental health care also don’t bother going if you have BPD they can’t help you and will jsut send you away waist of time and services. Also the doctors are hella mean here and some of the doctors will say that you have BPD jsut so you won’t have to be admitted happened to my friend who doesn’t have BPD, what kind of practice is that. Shame on you CAMH I hope all the doctors and nurses that work here have a wonderful day, because there gonna wish they had been nicer when they were on earth.
S	Sam Iceton on Google ★ ★ ★ ★ ★ More resources would make this place more effective as the issues they work to treat cannot be solved in a single visit, treatments take time. The vast majority of people working here are working hard in an extremely chaotic and challenging environment. Yes people with mental health issues need more / better care everywhere. The workers at CAMH are doing the best job with the resources and staffing they have. We live in a time where there are more resources dedicated to this cause than at any point in history, so people need to appreciate what is being offered. Of course we want to strive for more/better assistance, however CAMH is a place that is trying to achieve better care. My feedback would be for doctors to emphasize diet, nutrition, and supplements in addition to the medications they prescribe. Pharmaceuticals definitely work and are a big important piece of the mental health puzzle, but there is a lot of things that need to be done as well to ensure people are living a healthy life and get to a place where they can contribute and give back to society.
