β β β β β Never went to this school but I witnessed some student from this school called his classmate "chink". He was a minority himself. Wow.
I don't think my review is fair for the school overall but I did find his act really sickening so please, at least allow me to vent.

β β β β β Outstanding school with an often undeserving poor reputation. Like any school it has it's bad apple's which may seem exacerbated due to it's large student population. Bottom line, if you are there to learn and better yourself then the possibilities are fantastic. The vast number of available courses are truely amazing and offer the student's a chance to gain real world experience and many times open doors to jobs/apprenticeships immediately after graduating. In my experience the teachers and support staff were by and large very inspiring and dedicated, again with the exception of a few bad apple's...
So don't let some of the snobs within the TDSB sway you or your children into thinking if you go to a "Technical school" you wont be able to go on to be academically successful.

β β β β β I graduated in 2012 so I can't speak about it's current state. However, it was not a clean school or a place that felt like home but instead like a big city since there were like 2000 students at the time. They had a great variety of classes to pick from which included mechanics, wielding, arts, philosophy and so on. It's a very big school. It's sketchy at times because there are 3 buildings and sometimes you end up in spots without a soul around. It could be violent but that's just because there are so many people going so it's obvious there will be more trouble than normal. In the 4 years I attended there was a stabbing and a shooting. There also was a really trash football field that had an "n" shape but I see that they upgraded now. The washrooms were a mess...look below

β β β β β I went to this high school for 3 years from 2009-12 and graduated in June 2012 before being accepted into Ryerson for Mathematics. Overall looking back, the 3 years I spent here were one of my best years of my life (not saying University isn't any better but less social). I've made some pretty decent friends which I haven't seen in a while. Some teachers are good but others can be bad like every other school. I liked that It was semestered unlike Jarvis CI (the school i went to prior to CTS), the school has changed over the years.

β β β β β I actually go to bloor collegiate but as we are currently working in this building, I will comment on its quality, good overall, a bit dirty and the boys bathroom on the third floor has terrible stalls

β β β β β Too many stairs, jank people, some teachers be racist fr but other than tht its fine, a big selection of courses and cool programs. A lot of teachers are nice too.

β β β β β This school offers great variety of courses including robotic, architecture, cosmetology, fashion, and more. However, the teacher meh... the good teachers are most wonderful and the bad teachers are absolutely horrible. I like that the school is big and cool but the students are meh, they mind their own business and don't socialize unless they have to.

Listen up folks, in an attempt to write a scathing review of this place I ended visiting the building at night. The amount of raccoons around the place was simply astounding. I saw a few students feeding them feverishly in an attempt to protect themselves but it was too late. They we're overcome.
The doors we're open and the stairs to the second floor with covered in a strange viscous substance.
I didn't go much further because of the strange cackling coming from the upper floors, but I'll never forget that night.
6 stars website wont accommodate my DAMNED PREFERENCES.
