★ ★ ★ ★ ★ The hiking trail, park and tower look rather nice. However, Centennial Tower is currently closed and can't be visited. This should have been indicated at the parking lot to avoid unnecessary detours for visitors.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Don't be fooled--the tower at the parking lot is NOT the tower lol. Follow the trail to the right down a short path along the road. The gate to the lookout tower stairs was closed at 3:30 on a Wednesday. Not sure if it's Covid-related or if there was some other reason. 4 stars because I could see the potential of being able to look out... Otherwise the experience was 1 star. (Consolation: you are on the Bruce Trail for a few minutes).

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ A fun quick trip with a nice view of Owen Sound. Free parking. Extremely short hike from the parking. The spiral stairs a slightly narrow and steep, so children should be careful.

However, the trail is not suggest to children and beginner levels, need to wear proper shoes for trail.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Nice view of the town and the bay. Good job covering the graffiti Easy to access by the Owen Sound sign with an ice cream parlor right there (cash only). Nice stop along the Bruce Trail with access to Harrison Park. Lots of history to the site.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Sadly a bit neglected. Graffitti needs to be removed. It needs some attention and a new paint job. The Bruce trail below it is amazing, though, really stunning. But you need good shoes and to be in reasonable shape.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ This is a great location for a quick walk while in Owen Sound.
In the winter the tower is not open so you can't climb it. This increased during COVID as well I have noticed, and I'm unsure at this point whether It's reopening in the spring or not.
It's still a nice spot to come and see. Parking is right off Highway 6 and 10. Make sure not to park right on the road as it's not safe but there is a little parking lot right there next to the radio tower.
