I had a relaxing time in the Park for Father's day. Extremely decent folks gathered around for a somewhat private outing near the lake. Parking was nil unless you got a permit from the city before arrival. I had a "blast" nonetheless.

Tha place is very nice with sand beach. Water is shallow but cold. Playground is large, and also there is an outdoor gym. Attention! Parking for local residents only, no way to pay for it or to buy a path if you are traveling here. The parking enforcement will charge violators $50.

Beautiful park to picnic at or just see nature. It looks like it once was used for camping as there are camp posts along the waters edge. There is a small play ground and a beach. On the far side of the park is a skateboard or bike area with hills and ramps. There is one big hiking trail around the whole place. It is also a main waterway so you will see boats launching or just passing by. There is an observation spot to see the eagles nest (This is a must see).

What a pretty spot! Great views, lots of photo opportunities, nice dog park, great skateboard area, walking paths ; we're going to drive back soon to catch a sunset. Bet it's spectacular. ??

Nice little park with a small beach and fishing area. There is a shelter area with around 8 to 10 tables that can be used for picnics. It is unclear whether charcoal bbqs are allowed but a local group told us that it was ok to use as long as we dispose of the coal and other waste properly. There are a few swings and slides etc for little kids. Highly recommended.

Beautiful spot at the top of Lake Couchiching. Washago means “sparkling waters” and you can see that here. Visited today (February) and saw the Trumpeter Swans visiting! Easy to even just park and look out on a windy day. Nice playground on site for kids as well. Beautiful fenced in dog park as well!
