★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Ordered ground chuck at one price. Once it was loaded on the truck and sent for delivery, was contacted by text and told we had to pay almost 20 percent more.
When working to reconcile, was made to feel badly for protesting. Then was told there was no fat content in their ground chuck and that’s why it was worth more than the other protein providers (who reveal their fat content). The funny thing was we discussed fat content when making the purchase, and were led to believe it was 81/19.
When asked if they could put a credit on the account for the difference (which means we’d remain a customer and purchase more) was told they wouldn’t do that and the order was now cancelled.
Quoting one price then charging a higher one does not make for good business practice. Losing a customer over only $60 in product (that’s not full retail) is worse.
Sorry Centenniel, you really dropped the ball on this one.
