This loop is part of the larger Rouge National Park and should definitely be part of your hike through the park.

A nice trail to enjoy nature. The train passes by often so it's noisy when it does. Otherwise it's peaceful. It is well marked. In summer time be aware of ticks, they're everywhere.

A peaceful spot to watch the breeze ripple across the surface of the water. Frequented by geese, turtles, dragonflies, finch, and more

Variety of trails top choose from, not stroller friendly but so beautiful. Spaced out so u can maintain distance easily, there are goods trains that passed by every few hours.

Trail is about 2 km. If you're starting from toronto zoo road, it starts a bit boring, a pond followed by a narrow trail and scenery is the same but then trail goes to a wooded area and goes through a few wooden stairs. Great foliage colors in autumn. Saw birds, squirrels and geese. Trail ends at resor road and you'll take the same trail back to the parking lot
