After admiring them from afar (aka drooling over all their baked goods on social media) for over a year, I finally visited the bakery earlier this year and have been a regular since. I appreciate how clearly each item is labelled to meet dietary needs, and the staff are always so friendly and helpful. The pre-order options and COVID safety protocols make for a really pleasant experience, and the food is ALWAYS amazing. We've purchased several types of bread (regulars like the rosemary sea salt sourdough and fluffy sourdough, and bread features like jalapeno popper, everything bagel seasoned - pictured below) and many other treats like the chocolate mousse cup (pictured below), cupcakes, cookies, the massive peanut butter cup, cinnamon rolls, hot chocolate bombs, etc. We have never been disappointed! I recommend this bakery to all of my friends, and I highly recommend it to you!

The BEST vegan baked goods I've honestly ever had. Their muffins are delicate and fluffy and flavourful and NOT TOO SWEET!! So important, wow. You can taste the love (and skill!)

Their granola and everything bagels are weekly staples for us but also love all the sweet treats (nanaimo bars, Thee muffins, and cinnamon buns). Thank you for toughing through the last couple years and continuing to provide such an amazing service to this community. Excited for your newer and bigger location!

This picture shows their breads that are not scored properly with weak sourdough push and deflated over-proofed crust. You will not see this at any other bakery because products with these characteristics are usually considered failure and discarded due to integrity. But those who lack integrity dust spice design on top to distract from poor quality rather than take a loss.

I've loved everything I have tried here with my favorites being cinnamon buns, turnovers, cupcakes and "the muffin" . They are light and fluffy with high quality ingredients. Not only is Ce an incredible baker, but all the bakers she hires are amazing and the staff at the front are always very friendly and helpful.

When I first noticed this store it didn't look like much from the street... but I was quickly proven wrong, even before I set foot inside! The deck area is beautifully decorated with hand crafted wooden furniture, plant life, and even an entertainment area for small children. A nice touch there in my opinion. They grow their own herbs on this balcony for the delicious treats they bake inside. How are those treats you ask? In my humble opinion; look out tim hortons, you have a new competitor. From their loaves of bread, to the cookies, pies, bagels, muffins, meat pies, and more, this little slice of baking perfection has me thoroughly entranced. Most impressive of all is their wide selection of alternate health options, such as gluten-free, dairy-free, vegan and more. However, this will not stop you from visiting if you want more main-stream foods as they offer lots of these as well. What's more, if you appreciate a well organized, and stunningly decorated space, you need look no further. For me, the charm of a small bakery is that sense of stepping into an Era where things were done by hand and from scratch. I am happy to report that "The Bakery" (located at 100 regina Street South, Waterloo, Ontario) has this charm in spades. 10 / 10, a highly recommended visit for anyone.
