CCMR Performance - Spruce Grove

Wanted to support a local shop for a dyno tune for some simple mods on a modern truck. Spent over $1100 on a dyno tune to get a truck back with engine codes, running overly rich with lacking performance and fuel economy. Over a year of Chris attempting to fix his tune with being left high and dry with no customer service I was forced to buy an email tune. The email tune from a company in the States did a night and day better job than Chris could do in person on his dyno which shows his lack of experience to tune modern hemi trucks and really shows he really lacks in customer service now a days. Known Chris for almost 10 years and looks like he has really fallen short on his service and skills which is has been extremely disappointing he has forced me to write this review. Update to Chris’s response, I’ve known Chris since 2011 which to him isn’t almost 10 years or he just has a bad memory. He did start replying to me until he forced me to make a review which is extremely sad and after another shop did the job he was paid to do. Seems like not only is Chris lacking the skills and customer service but now is pro in making up excuses in why his skills and customer service aren’t what they used to be.

I took my very high end custom built supercar to CCMR. I am extremely picky about who I'd let put their hands on my baby. I met with Chris and he made me feel confident he knew what he was doing. Chris worked hard and long hours to get it dialed in. its is now a very user friendly street car that can rip the tires off the rims when ever I feel the urge. I'd go back without any reserves.

First of all, I don't let anyone touch my car. I put new heads, cam, and exhaust on my 2014 Camaro SS this summer, so I needed a custom tune. After a lot of research I went with CCMR. Boy am I glad I did. These guys know their stuff, and they're really cool people. I do not hesitate for one second to recommend CCMR. I will definitely be back after my supercharger install in a year or two. Five stars.

Hi all I took my 2011 2ss camaro to chris and waited a year to write this review. I had a custom grind cam, lifters,push rods, trunyan upgrade, time chain and so on I had a dod delete and vvt delete and custom tune. I have not had a single issue with over 10 000 km now and counting, love the sound and the low end torque even with the cam trying to overtake the brakes I love it. I have lots of great comments on it and can't thank Chris and his wonderful family enough for giving me the ride I always wanted.?

I have used the services of Chris and his team a number of times over a 10 year period. From the admin professionals to the mechanics in the back - all have taken the time to explain the process, tuning completed and any other questions I had. The recent new tune runs great - thank you!

I have a Ram 1500 4x4 with a 5.7L Hemi / Ram 1500 4x4 with a Procharger installed. The ECU had the "canned" program that came from Procharger on a Diabo tuner. It never ran right from the get go, definitely needed tweeting. I had the truck dyno tuned at CCMR and it is 100% better. I had it set up for daily driving with 91 octane. A unexpected bonus is I picked up 40 more RWHP. I received 3 tunes, summer, winter and a tow tune. Cost was high but my understanding is minor tweeks in the future should be covered. All in all, I am happy...

I’ve been dealing with Chris and Kari for just over a year and this company will not only do "bolt on" style performance but take the time to custom build just about anything you can imagine. Fabrication: Creativity is one of their strong points. From a Daily Driver to Race Car the team there can look after you. Chris is an amazing Fabricator when it comes to custom Aluminum intake or Stainless Steel exhaust components and just takes the time to do it right. Chris can fabricate your custom Turbo Set-up to sit just about anywhere you’d want it to. Whether you want twins or a big single they can make it work. Parts: Kari is great at procurement sourcing hard to find parts at a reasonable cost and timeline. From Racing rims/tire/brake setups to Turbo’s, superchargers, meth injection systems she can pretty much get anything you are looking for. Dyno Tuning: When it comes to Dyno Tuning from Carb to Fuel Injected, Compound boosted, Meth Injected, whatever your vice is Chris can sort it out and get it back to you safe and powerful. I don't think i’ve ever been to this shop without there being a car coming off of one dyno while the other one is spinning. Engine Building: Now, these guys also do complete engine building. From custom order blocks to machining, custom cam specs, pistons, bearings, heads, valves … i’ve seen these guys put some mean power through some interesting configurations. Driveline Building: While you are building more power they can also build your transmission to back it up. From 4L80’s, TH400’s, 6L90’s to 2 speed glides the guys there can build them to hold power. They also install 4 link systems for your more race ready cars. Fully adjustable and perfectly installed. Custom Suspension: They install and set up just about any type of suspension system for your application. Street or strip, track or daily they can set it up. Cage Installations: They install roll bars to full NHRA certified chromoly cages. Both Chris, Kari and their team will back their work and commitments to ensure their customers are satisfied. They even work on supercharged speed boats. If it has a domestic motor these guys can do it. I don't know what more to say about their award winning work. From Hellcat to Ford GT to Factory 5 To Direct Injected z06 Vette, If its Domestic they can make reliable power with it.
