One of the strategies written and sent to us by mail by Cause and Effect's occupational therapist Julie Campbell was to call 911 when my son has a meltdown.Mind you he was 4 years old back then. After I fired her from his team and escalated it to her managers somehow they made me feel I misunderstood this "strategy" and I am somehow overreacting. How interesting to see she was promoted! They were very passive aggressive and when my child didn't make a progress they blamed him. Oh, the things I heard! It's stressful enough to be special needs parent. All of us deserve to be treated with respect and some sort of professionalism without playing silly games and underestimating the parents. I definitely do not recommend this agency.
