S	Sandra Seary on Google ★ ★ ★ ★ ★ I stumbled across Catz Hair Lair while I was out shopping and so glad I did. The owner is an expert colourist with tons of experience. She did an awesome job. It has a casual and friendly vibe and I immediately felt comfortable. Found my new salon!
L	Lou Keane on Google ★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Aweful place. Cat tricks you into paying double more than it should cost. She told me my missed appmnt cost full price only when I went to pay for my rescheduled appmnt, when I offered to pay a fee. Cost over 400$ for highlights that looked no different than my nautral hair. Other Salons will charge you a cancellation fee, usually 20% of the service price. Cat charged me FULL PRICE for my missed appmnt, as well the FULL PRICE for the actual hair appointment, and it came to over 400$. When I called back to say I felt I was ripped off, she told me this was "standard practice" and refused to give me any kind of refund at all.

I highly recommend Nancy in particular, and also the salon. The atmosphere is always pleasant and upbeat. Nancy is meticulous in her attention to detail and has great ideas. The prices are reasonable and the results are excellent. I've sent friends to Nancy and they've all been really happy too. Thanks :)

Aside from the five star talent- I was also impressed with the super tight Covid policies in place. It was a safe environment. You're in good hands with Cat....oh, and she gives a killer head massage! See you when I move here, Cat! Until then-- jump into one of my virtual barre or HIIT classes! xo

When I walked into the salon, I was greated by Velvet and immediatley made to feel welcome. Cat had her own client, but ensured that I felt comfortable. Velvet gave me an amazing cut. I went from long hair that was 1/2 way down my back to a shoulder length bob. It looks and feels amazing. We did the strand test for the perm as I have some drug store product in my hair. I love that they took the time to ensure that my hair would turn out exactly as I was hoping that it would. Today, I came back for the perm. Oh my Stars & Garters! From beginning to end, I was pampered, made to feel special, and treated like a queen. The curl is amazing. My hair looks like the way I had pictured it in my head. Velvet took the time to ask me a lot of questions about my hair and my habits to ensure that I was happy with the result. This was an amazing experience. Not only do I look fabulous, I have made 2 new friends, I had so much fun in the salon. I would definitley reccomend Catz Hair-Lair. They are amazing women, and they take pride in what they do. You deserve to treat yourself to this experience. I will definitley be back again for my upkeep, and I have found my hairdresser for life. Thank you, Ladies. You have made me feel spectacular.

Most importantly, this salon is a Cerified Sustainable Salon through (through Green Circle Salons greencirclesalons.com/). This means all the hair, foils, paper and other waste is diverted and recycled in one form or another. The beauty industry is famously dirty, and any salon working to reduce their footprint should be supported and championed over other salons who choose not to commit to being better. Totally recommend them!
