Always pleasant and always quick to give advice about your medication

Angela is the Pharmacist and she is very knowledgeable and helpful. She is current and is always willing to provide printouts when I can not quite recall precisely what my medications are. Having a pharmacist that is so helpful and she understands some of the barriers that I face as a severely disabled person. Angela and her staff are pleasant, friendly and always helpful. I used to go to other pharmacies many years ago, and found the experience of dealing with the big Chain store pharmacies to be extremely confusing. There are no benefits of dealing with the big box store pharmacies, because their interactions with patients to me appeared to be very impersonable, you don't ever get that feeling at The Castledowns pharmacy. The big box store pharmacy experience like Walmart and Shoppers Pharmacy was not helpful because the Big Box pharmacists make you feel inferior, unintelligent and too dumb to understand the medications you are taking. A couple of my medications I have been taking for more than 10 years, and Angela has never talked down to me or Debb, nor has she ever made either of us feel like we were of an inferior intellect. Her entire staff is warm, inviting and helpful because for me there are days that I struggle to remember specifics of date's that occurred for refills and such. We both could not be happier with the awesome customer service we get from the Castledowns Presciption Center. And they have a chair or two to sit in while you wait for your script to be filled, which for me is really big. The benefits of a small pharmacy attached to your Doctors office cannot be overstated. Any perceived savings of a Big Box store pharmacy really are simply are not worth the hassle that comes with them. As a disabled person, I don't go out much and the additional trips necessary to fix the errors at Walmart and Shoppers is extra work that I simply don't need. Do yourself a favour, reduce needless stress and extra trips by filling your script needs at a small pharmacy like Castledowns Presciption Center.
