Castle Mountain Child Development Centre Ltd. - Calgary

BEST daycare ever! The owner is such a sweetheart and kind lady! She will bend over backward to make sure each child is happy at this daycare. This is the first time my child is in daycare. She is in the toddler room. And I am impressed how much she is learning. She sings songs at home everyday. My child calls the owner and director grandma now. This is how much she is cared for here. If I have any question or concern about her time in daycare, the teacher gives me reports and teaches me how to guide my child at home too. I do not take it personal. Each parent here should be very happy they have child care professionals to help them raise their kids. I am not the expert. But the staff at Castle Mountain is a great help!!

My child is in the toddler room at this daycare and was displaying behavior problems. The wonderful staff in the toddler room completed a developmental checklist and observed his behavior over a few days. The amazing director and assistant director called me in to describe his developmental stage and gave me tips on how I could help him at home too. My child's behavior problems have improved. I am so grateful for the Castle Mountain team for working with me to make daycare a positive experience for my child! Everyone at this daycare is so empathetic and helps children from the bottom of their hearts!!

We were referred to this daycare so we decided to put our two year old daughter here. The second day of daycare, my daughter came home with deep scratches under her eyes. When I asked the daycare about it the next day, the assistant was clueless. That afternoon, the owner/director of the daycare called & told me that my daughter has behaviour issues as she is too messy & possessive, and the daycare will not tolerate her unacceptable behaviour. For 15 minutes she taunted me about how my daughter needs help & staff is overworked. She consistently gave me a month warning for her behaviour to change. At one point she got so worked up & said, "you know what? 2 weeks!" In the initial interview, I told the assistant that this will be my child's first daycare as she has always stayed home with her dad & I. The assistant told me toddlers in this day care are very busy little creatures. They bite, hit, & push as a way to communicate. The owner made my daughter's injuries her FAULT as she deserved them because she doesn't like sharing. She even added, "29 years of me running this business I have never ever seen a child like her!". She was unprofessional, rude, and inconsiderate of the fact that it was only her third day and first time in a daycare. A complete stranger, who only 'observed' my daughter for few minutes, tells me she needs a leash. I'm truly hurt by her appalling words. My daughter didn't go there to be judged & singled out. I put her there so she can make friends & explore. My daughter spent less than 20 hours in this piece of junk and she'll never go back there. I took her out that same afternoon. Lesson learned!

I don't think I could have been any happier with the quality of care my son received while attending Castle Mountain. EVERY SINGLE staff member are highly qualified and extremely caring and loving. They absolutely adored my son during his time here and we are all sad to be moving to the other side of the city and leaving such a wonderful atmosphere. The owners are so lovely and cheerful, always smiling and asking how we are all doing. Just a really great place to leave your kiddo, knowing they will be in very capable and caring hands.

Amazing care from devoted staff members! My child never wants to come home after a day at this daycare. Extra care and attention is given to my child's development needs. The staff and management work with me as a team and we all focus on my child's development together. Management has many years of experience serving this community and it shows! I would highly recommend this daycare :)

I'm very pleased with Daycare staff. They very well take care of my 1 year little man. My older son also used to go there 2 yeas ago and he still miss daycare. Staff is really kind, caring and passionate about their work.

One of the best daycares my two children have been to. Staff are truly amazing , super caring and they take care of the children like their own. My two kids have been attending here for two years,zero complains if you are a first time mom and are unsure trust me you will not regret leaving your children here. From the bottom of my heart thank you staff for doing such a amazing job!

I love knowing my daughter is in the Castle Mountain Day Care. I went to Castle Mountain myself as a kid for 4-5 years and I remember it being a great experience. The best part was the food from what I can remember. Also Miss Mandie and her staff have always been the best when showing that they care for the parents and children that are apart of the Castle Mountain Family. The time and effort put into helping parents with their children is also amazing. I would like to say thank you for the help and the amount of support that has and still is being provided by the Castle Mountain Daycare. -Carolyn Rabbit
