★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Amazing place, the staff is incredible especially the amazing security team! They put their safety on the line daily walking the perimeters keeping an eye on vehicles while patrons are inside, walking patrons and fellow co-workers to their cars and screening people to make sure everyone is safe!! They do not get near enough credit for dealing with the problematic individuals who frequent that area who make it unsafe. That back alley (Cameron st behind the Casino) and the military museum parking lot. For all they do I'm certain they are not being paid nearly enough for constantly putting themselves in harms way but I can assure you I'm so extremely grateful for them and their help!!

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ This casino has lots(& only) machines to play on. Great vibe but no live tables to play for now. I was there couple of couple of hours and only saw one lady win $1200.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Was bringing my mom from mainland to see my dad, this is where we met for him to take her from me... She's currently suffering from severe medical issues and we went in to use washroom. Asked if there was a wheelchair, was told there was but only for emergencies, and they wouldn't lend it out. My mom could barely walk, without complete support, that was very clear, and they wouldn't help... She was just using the washroom, not gonna run away with a wheelchair.....

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ It is the worst casino on Vancouver Island hands down. I live in Nanaimo and have been a regular since it opened. It has gone so far downhill. We would rather spend the extra gas money to go to Courtenay than go to this casino. Not even joking. The games are old or are not up with what people want to play. Whoever is in charge needs to follow some of the online slot players to see what is actually popular. They don't even care enough to have a social media platform that is active. All the other island casinos have updated fun games. Even if only one for each game. This Nanaimo casino has 4-6 of what they think are popular games that sit totally empty. HALF the games like the Miner's Gold sit totally empty all night, but there is room for 20 people, while other newer games you can't even get a seat at. Drink selection is also horrible and pretty much non-existent and so expensive as well. Duncan charges $8 for the same wine, same size that this place charges $12.50 for. No free pop, like all the other casinos either. The Courtenay casino is 100% so much better and 1/3 of the size. As is Cowichan. The floor staff here in Nanaimo are lovely, and none of it falls on them, but management is obviously terrible. 100% do not recommend.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ First time being at the Casino in Nanaimo! Loved the 1¢ slot machines my good friend Sandy aka "magic touch Sandy" won $286 20 seconds after we sat down! The lady to my left cashed out at $6,000!! Very friendly and professional staff. Enjoyed the Slot machines they have quite a variety. Tables also available. Nice decor.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Good service and friendly . More importantly brought 80.00 bucks played Bombay (awesome of u have little funds to spare. Can spend 1 penny to 10.00) bit for 1100 and some odd number. Went for a nice breakfast in the restaurant (till 2pm) and then took my money home.
