Very beautiful. Clean. Clear water. Lots of space to hang out. Grilling, bike riding, hiking. Lots of nature stuff to do.

Stunning views and great walk around the ponds for a young family with a stroller and toddler bike. Looking forward to picnicking during the summer

Very nice place to stay for a bbq or leisure walk. About 2km loop & will take you 45-60 minutes to hike around it. Mountain views are amazingly beautiful. Cascade mountain is HUGE! It has tables, bbq pits & clean washrooms.

This is a great place to visit while exploring Banff. Late summer is great as the ponds are filled. They have fire pits with picnic tables. As well as free fire wood. Just bring your own axe. The views were amazing.

Heading to Banff? Instead of going left, turn right. There's so much beauty to see. A lovely place to have a picnic take an easy short stroll alone or for the whole family including young ones.

A decent spot to check out near Banff! There are multiple fire pits and picnic tables around for a quick lunch and a pond to row a boat on. Also an open field to walk around in. Not the most picturesque viewpoint in the Banff area but worth checking out as it’s easy to get to!

Beautiful spot to take pictures, go for a walk, and even have a picnic. You are literally so close and surrounded by mountains, it's truly breath taking. Granted we went in the shoulder season, but it wasn't busy at all and there was free parking which was great. Definitely a spot worth checking out.

A really nice place to visit while on your trip to Banff! We were here during the slow season so it was quiet but I'm sure it gets very busy in the summer! Really great place to take some pictures and have a relaxing day with a picnic and fire! Lots of parking as well!
