★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Owner Attentive. Very Small Shop. Has a good selection of items that other stores do not carry. Carries models in tanks & planes. Has trains, collector steel cars, ships, star trek ships, retro figurines and more. 4 stars due to store needing a clean makeover, better space management, newer shelving and clean glass cabinets. But overall a good shop to find the unfindable.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ It's not only the shopping experience that is fantastic here it's the jokes and laughter you can share with the owner.
I've been in several times since getting in to the hobby, never browsing only buying and I can honestly say the owner is a delight.
Helpful, friendly, polite are words that could describe him. This is not the place when you get back to your car saying 'you'll never return' or 'that miserable, ungrateful for your business so and so's not getting another penny from me again'. No such thing.
Why waste time driving to Richmond or Vancouver or even ordering online when you can get everything you need at Mr. Sweet as sugars (that's our pet name for the owner).
Really it's the best hobby shop in langley. It has everything you need, including lots of laughter.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ If you're looking for friendly helpful service, this is not the place. Take your business elsewhere. RC Pitstop nearby have friendly helpful staff, so I spent my 200 dollars there instead. Came all the way from Chilliwack hoping to spend some money on hobby stuff. As soon as we walked in, it was so awkward. Distinct feeling we were inconveniencing the owner. Curt responses, weird looks like I was wasting his time. We felt like we were rushed to leave. At first I though maybe he was closing, but that was not the case.
Read all the other reviews....it's not unique to mine.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ I'd much rather support a local business than somewhere like Amazon, and this place has a decent selection, but I really wish the staff were nicer.
I was very quiet and respectful, but judging by the shopkeeper's interaction with me, I still felt like I was inconveniencing him by shopping at his store. A simple "good morning" or "have a nice day" can go a long way in making customers want to return.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Avoid this store at all costs. The owner is very confrontation and has poor customer service. You feel like you are actually bothering him by coming to shop at his store. Came to look at his selection of trains and model cars just to be chastised and belittled for my preference in brand. The owner verbally abused me with out right threats to throw me out for calling him on his poor mannerisms and talking down to me. Little man syndrome with a huge splash of behavioral issues is what you will receive at this store. By the previous reviews it sounds this is not uncommon. Hopefully the owner will keep up his poor customer service and go out of business.

This store has some very cool old school models and supplies.
Wife isn't going to be happy with my revived hobby of building models though I don't think.
