Honest review and insight into the building for people thinking about living here: There are only 3 washing machines and 3 dryers for both buildings, it's not nearly enough for all the people living here especially on the weekends, and there's no hookups in the suites to get your own machine. There are no laundromats nearby either. One tenant will selfishly use up all 3 machines and this happens regularly, leaving you no opportunity to do your laundry. There's only one elevator for both buildings, and Building B is not accessible at all, as even the walkways to cross over to Building A where the elevator is, have stairs on them. The building is hard to access and doesn't have street parking, you need to park in the fire lane to move in and if you have to move into an upper level in Building B, well, good luck to you. You need to go up the elevator in Building A, then cross an overhead outdoor walkway with stairs on it to get into Building B. There are multiple ongoing pest problems, in fairness, they hire people to deal with it, but they only treat the suites that report the problem, and the ones that don't report it allow the problem to continue. I have seen pharaoh ants, mice in the laundry room, and a lot of silverfish, but as far as I know, no bed bugs. The building is very old and superficially renovated inside the suites only, and the suites still have their original 70s single pane windows and the bathtubs have just been painted. The original carpet is still in the hallways and it really needs an update. There are weird holes in the walls in the hall and stairwells. Thankfully, they do have cleaners and groundkeepers who clean and maintain regularly. It's a hot building, especially in the hallways where there is no ventilation. They allow pets which is great, and it is probably the main reason anyone lives here, but they don't provide designated garbage bins outside to dispose of their waste like most pet friendly apartments do, so there's a dog poop problem. It's not all bad though, the things that keep me here are the very nice gardens and greenery around the building and the fact that it is a quiet building and quiet neighborhood, very accessible to transit and pet friendly which is hard to find in this city. It's not as expensive as many other pet friendly buildings, and not as gross as most of the other inexpensive rental buildings. The building has mostly families, quiet students, and elderly and disabled people. It feels like a friendly, family oriented building and neighborhood.

Very expensive and run down. Property managers are okay but the landlords treat property manager horrible. Rats and bugs. Rent too expensive.

This place is accessible to everything. Several improvements in and around the building in the last 1.5 years. However, there are recurring issues with the lights outside the building. It is always not working during the hours when you actually need to see in the dark. It takes several phone calls to the building manager/care taker before action is taken.
