If you are a contractor or repeat customer like myself they go above and beyond to help you get the best prices and personally call you when they have inside tracks on special deals.

You don't have to stand in the aisle at home depot hoping to get help, and crossing your fingers the person knows what they are talking about, these guys have decades of knowledge.
