J	Justin F on Google ★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Great portions, definitely keeps well for multiple meals. This restaurant made me fall in love with chickpeas. Lovely doubles, jerk chicken, and goat curry. Wonderful chutneys and marriage of strong flavours in the doubles. I'll NEVER find a jerk chicken as good as the ones here. It's beautifully seasoned and tender with a nice sweetness. The rice and peas and coleslaw pair really well. The goat curry in roti is also lovely, with very tender meat and a delicious yellow curry that makes every potato worth eating. Part of me wishes I had giant hands and a giant mouth so I could pick up the goat curry wrapped in roti and eat it like a burrito. I wish this place was bigger (so the lines don't get so long during busy times) and was open for more hours each week. Also, I am very sad that doubles aren't available every day and beef patties sell out so quick.

Chicken is juicy and tender. Beef melts in your mouth. it's a small place and busy around dinner. Call ahead if you can but when she's cooking she can't get the phone.

The curried goat and potatoes is amazing. Roti's are unbelievable. Recommend that you at least try an item. But do it soon as the last time I spoke with Sandra she was thinking about hanging up the apron and closing up.

Meat was absolutely tender, potatoes were delicious and the rice & beans were plump. Perfect amount of sauce and you add your own heat. Also had the chickpea curry as a roti. Also very delicious. Roti was still intact the next morning, not soggy. Both orders must have weighed 2 pounds each! Only warning is that it can be a wait. I was there on a Saturday night at 7 pm and the estimated wait time was 30 minutes. I came back around 8:10 and waited about 15 minutes. If I'm ever in Hamilton, I always try to come here. ?

I got the chicken roti. Loved it. The number of people who walked in at 5 on a Saturday all familiar with the place was very encouraging. Did not disappoint.

Staff is always friendly, the only issue I have is that I have to keep on calling like I'm calling a radio station and many cases I just end up going to their location instead because the phone never gets picked up. Unfortunately they are closed until further notice. I called in for an order today and they are closed. Hopefully they open soon.

We ordered doubles and also the jerk chicken plate. Absolutely delicious!!!! I've also tried the goat and chick pea roti and it was good for two meals. Love this place!!!!! Stay around forever!
