Y	Yasmin Bleck on Google ★ ★ ★ ★ ★ This place seems to be extremely unorganized. I was interviewed for a position at this location. The whole process was long and drawn out. I was invited in for an interview about 2-3 months after the closing date, and they had even lost my application at one point. After I was interviewed it took another 2 months to hear back. By then I had found a job with an agency who had their hiring process in order.

J	Judy Evans on Google ★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Nurse Joy has been my medical provider and while she seems to be dedicated to helping clients her attitude lacks the “joy” her name might suggest, which is kinda ironic. She gets the job done, I just wish her attitude would be as favorable as her medical care.
R	Reepicheep of Narnia on Google ★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Someone struggling with mental health shouldn’t face hurdles that makes them worse off in the end. The therapist seemed nice enough, but it was quickly made clear to me that if I stayed around too long getting help I’d be a burden and drain to the system. They needed to get me out to get new people in. The conveyor belt keeps churning and you might just get knocked off to make room for the next widget. Being treated like a burden when you already think of yourself as a burden (the reason for seeking help in the first place) isn’t a winning strategy to help people get healthy.

The staff even put up with me missing calls or appointments when I’m in poor mental health, and I’m greatly appreciative of them. It’s a very supportive & informative environment in general, and I can very highly recommend Dr. Shaw. I’ll be with her as long as I’m around here.
S	Stanka Gjorgjievska on Google ★ ★ ★ ★ ★ The receptionist wanted to know why I need an appointment with my doctor and since I didn't want to share she put me on hold. After 15 min I called from my other line, just to verify that indeed, she was just "teaching me a lesson" how important she is in the office. When will health care professionals understand that we pay taxes for the services they provide and provide a better service to paying clients? Dr. Brar is supposed to take care of dr Shaw's patients (my doctor), and he sent me to see a neurologist without providing a single information about my history (brain aneurysm survivor). When I asked them to fax the pharmacy prescription to renew my blood pressure medication, I was told that I have to call the pharmacist, and they need to fax the request, because "the pharmacist knows what I am taking" - I asked, "so my doctor doesn't know what I am taking and you can't do it even though I am just calling it and requesting it?" So yes, I had to then call my pharmacist to fax them a request, because somebody in the Carea office said "that is how it must be done".
