The haddock was very tasty and flaky. The chips were plenty and very well seasoned. Would love to go back and try other items on the menu.

I wish we had more of these types of places in Toronto, many have closed so I never eat this type of food. I've been lacking since Penrose closed years ago near me and the owner of Golden Crisp died. Next country drive out that way I might try Big mouth but I need to come back and take photos too.

The fish was flaky and tender on the inside and perfectly battered and crispy on the outside. The shrimp and scallops were awesome too. They are also clearly cutting their own fries, which were just perfect. I’ve tried fish and chips all over this area and this was by far the best I’ve had. I’m definitely going back!

Had a good experience at Captain George’s. Service is quick and the food is amazing. Tried both haddock and halibut. Must visit. Recommend!
D	David Baer on Google ★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Fast, friendly service. Very clean. Good sized portion for much less than a fast food chain restaurant. The dining room was bright, cheery and calm. If I was to be critical, the fries were a bit mealy, but I think it was just the potato itself, not improperly cooked and it was my first time there. All in all a good experience. I would definitely go back.
