★ ★ ★ ★ ★ I came here a few years ago as I was going to school at sait and I wanted to find a barber shop that was close by.
The price was great and the man in charge, Sam, gave me a great haircut on the first run. So I have been coming ever since.
I live in south calgary, but for me it’s worth the trip to the Northwest just to get a consistent haircut. Sam is a skilled barber and a has great customer service! Highly recommend!

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ This is a spectacular barbershop. Sam knows exactly how to treat a customer right. Complementary coffee and cookies when I was there. And a friendly smile, locally owned and operated by the man himself. Great prices and better work.

Probably fine if you want a run of the mill men's cut, but don't ask for anything with any bit of style. I look like a failed army reject who probably grumbles about gun restrictions. Worst hair cut ever!

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ I have been going to Charif’s for the better part of 20 year now since the original Charif owned it, and yes he could be very temperamental. The new owner Sam is a very friendly and skilled barber who is a pleasure to sit for. He cuts my hair well, listens to how I may need it for special occasions and cuts it perfectly. He also offers free coffee and there is always free cookies to eat which my kids love. I would highly recommend his services.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Quick, friendly and awesome cut! Went in for a full haircut thinking it was going to be a hassle as my hair was a bit long, Nope! The barber here did an awesome job and like I said friendly and very quick! I wasn’t quite sure what I wanted, but I showed him a picture and he worked with me and made sure to ask if it were to short/to long. He told me what was best but still let me decide which was totally awesome!he did a great job and I walked out super happy, and will be back again soon for another. Thank you.
