A small, personal twist on your average gym. They have the necessary machines to give you a good well rounded workout, but more importantly, the employees skill and expertise in their field makes this a very good place to get in shape. I participate as part of my volleyball training for a high-performance competitive club, and not only do they give us personalised training sessions twice a week, after tournaments, they will do recovery sessions, to make sure anything that might be tight, or painful is taken care of. We also have had a couple sessions on nutrition, and why to eat what, and I would say that Capital Strength is really what makes our team be able to be classified as High Performance.

I've been at Capital for just about 3 years now. The atmosphere is amazing, the training programs are so well thought through by professional and skilled trainers. It changes every few weeks so you never get bored, and they offer so many variations to ensure you're hitting whatever fitness goals their members have. There is a professional trainer running and coaching every class. Especially with the pandemic, they have gone truly above and beyond; buying PPE and special cleaning machines, changed the workouts so they are "pod" specific, implemented a booking app and added more classes so we're only 10 per class. They adapt to the rapidly changing gvt regulations to ensure compliancy and that all of their members and staff feel safe. I cannot wait until we're able to return to the gym again, our daily routines have been so heavily affected by COVID, but for now, their daily IG classes are keeping us going! (L)

Love capital strength! The gym is massive which gives you plenty of space to focus on your workout. Instructors are 10/10 and the classes really allow you to focus on building strength while having enough time to perfect posture. Strongly recommend!!!

Capital Strength provides a welcoming and helpful culture, with effective workouts. I always leave with a feeling of accomplishment, confidence, and soaring energy. Full body workouts for strength and conditioning, but still good for all levels. Highly recommend to anyone wanting to get a great workout in.

Great atmosphere and environment to workout it. Special thanks to trainer Alexis. She is incredibly knowledgeable and passionate about what she does. Always making sure exercises were projected properly and with good form. As someone with a low back injury I was not able to perform some exercises. Alexis was always quick to modify the workout for me, checking in for comfort and safety throughout. I would recommend this gym to anyone who wants a challenging workout as well as anyone dealing with injury. This gym worked as a great rehab tool for me overcoming a back injury as well as staying fit.

Just spent my first week at CSTS and I can tell you that it will be the first of many. As an Ex-Athlete who has unfortunately let himself go after his career, I can say that I was worried to get back into the gym. After getting a recommendation from a former trainer, I signed up for the 3 times a week group sessions. It was refreshing to see members with a wide range of personal goals, from first timers to more experienced athletes getting their daily dose of high intensity exercise. All of whom were extra friendly. Although they have never met me before, all of the training staff figured out who I was and were very kind and fun to work with, while still pushing me to perform at my best. The workouts were great, I haven’t sweat this much in a while, but it’s a great feeling. You will see me at CSTS for quite some time, and I would recommend that you join. You definitely will have your money’s worth and from my small bit of time there, the community looks great. It’s your chance to join a very tightly knit group, that will open their arms to anyone, no matter their background.

Amazing gym. The staff is great. Workout is awesome. i have suffered from post concussion syndrome and incorporating strength classes has gotten rid of my symptoms as they were related to whiplash I sustained. it has also helped me reduce risk of injury in my sport. Highly recommend.

I've gone to many gyms in Ottawa and I can say with confidence that Capital is BY FAR the BEST one! You get personal training in a group environment in a beautiful facility that is extremely clean. Each person or buddy system has their own pod, which includes a squat rack, bench, bands and weights. The coaches are amazing and really know how to adapt to different people's training levels and offer modifications to those who have injuries. I personally underwent surgery not long ago and Capital has played a huge part in my recovery and reintroduction to the gym. The coaches are super friendly and supportive and make sure that you never plateau by consistently switching up the workouts. I look forward to working out every day in a local gym that offers a community feel rather than a cold, corporate environment. Thanks for being so awesome!
