These guys are the best. I was told by a dealership that my canopy third brake light was out and since it was an aftermarket product they couldn't help me. I bought the canopy in BC so I phoned a truck accessory company whose name I was familiar with and left a message. They promptly called me in the morning. When I called back they had some encouraging news - suggesting the LED strip probably wasn't burnt out and that it might just be a wiring problem. So I drove out to them and they had it fixed in under 30 minutes. They were all polite and courteous and welcomed me to Calgary - just moved to AB a couple of months ago. So so happy with their service and knowledge that I would highly recommend them.

I recently purchased a cap and bed rug from this location. I can't say enough about the service and installation. The cap was here much sooner than the time they quoted me, and they did a great job with the installation. I'm not sure what happened with the last couple reviewers, but in the last year they have outfitted, and replaced parts on a quite a few of my company trucks, their service and work has always been exceptional.

My husband and I went to cap-it in May for a cap for our truck since we were going to BC for a month long camping trip. The staff knew that we needed it for late August. We did not get it in August, in fact it took many phone calls with no answers as to why our cap was not ready. We finally received it at the end of October and as they put it on our new truck they scratched the drivers side of the truck. So, they not only kept us waiting just shy of 6 months and scratched our truck and we did not even get an apology for the long wait and they told us that they did scratch our truck. I have never been treated this badly from a business, it was not only a slap in the face, but they could have offered us a small discount, a gift card, an apology or anything would have been nice. I don't suggest this company.

I wish there was a ZERO star rating, 1 star is to much. Just a heads up everyone, I am in Canada, so if you are in the USA this probably won't help. I tried to order a LEER 100XR CX-R BULLDOG truck canopy for my 2022 Toyota Tundra, from Cap-it here in Canada (all Calgary locations) , they wanted $6500 installed, keyless locking paired to my key fob, front removable window, roof rails, door opening side windows, ceiling carpeted. Cap-it sold the exact same one I wanted to a friend in Calgary for $4200 CAN, I sent them the quote for his unit, which was less than 2 weeks old, they said they made a mistake on his unit and mine would be $6500, that is $2400 more, Cap-it is totally out to lunch. The Same exact unit I ordered in Oregon State (no sales tax) for $3200 USD, or $4100 CAN, apples to apples, we are close to the US boarder, less than one days drive, we were planning to go to Oregon anyway. And here is the best part, I will have it in 3-4 weeks, Cap-it said 8-12 weeks (again totally out to lunch). I prefer to shop in Canada, but not get screwed badly!!!!

Tired of excuses and being lied to. Installation went when well, LEER truck cap I bought is good ... except the "T" handles that close and lock the back latch have both seized and can no longer accept the key after only 1 year. I was told "Life Time Warranty" would cover this ... WRONG. Turns out "Life Time Warranty" is just a term they use to make a customer feel like they are purchasing a quality product. Once they make the sale, you're on you own. A good business would go the extra step to make this right, but unfortunately, this is NOT that business ... they sold me the product, made some money and now I don't matter anymore.

We purchased a truck cap, roof rack, and Decked drawer system from Cap It earlier this year, and were so happy with our experience! Everything came together so well, and we really appreciated all of the help and expertise that Destin provided as we planned and ordered everything without ever going into the store. We had a lot of questions, and he was so helpful with guiding us in putting together a great package for our truck! The support didn't end once everything was installed, and they've continued to make sure we're happy with our set-up since. Thanks Destin, Bill, and everyone else on staff, for such a great experience!

Perhaps the worst customer service I've ever experienced. I ordered a topper for my Toyota Tacoma April 2021 and was told lead time was 6-8 weeks, topper took 12 weeks to come in which was understandable given the Covid situation. Upon installation of the topper I found defects in the paint (Blotching & dirt in clear coat) as well as misshapen window trim. I brought the truck into Cap-It where it was inspected. Was told by Leer that I need to take it to a body shop for an estimate for a repaint. Body shop provided Cap-It the estimate of over $800. Cap-It gave the offer of a $400 discount or repaint. I advised I would like the repaint and to book it in as soon as they could. I made multiple calls and emails to Cap-It only to be repeatedly told they were waiting for the body shop. I called the body shop who confirmed they have openings but I had to deal with Cap-It to arrange. Still got the run around from Cap-It and then they stopped responding completely. I finally reached out to the owner who didn't even apologize about the service and I was told it would now need to be repainted by the manufacturer which would leave me without a topper for 2-3 months forcing me to accept a discount. I was completely understanding of the situation throughout the entire 6 month span as this was on the manufacturer and not Cap-It. Cap-It should have had enough common sense to capitalize on this and keep me happy. I own a new Toyota Tacoma that will soon be in need of a lift, wheels, tires, racks and bumpers and Cap-It has lost the opportunity to be a one stop shop for these items. I couldn't imagine running a business in this fashion and effectively telling a client they do not matter...
