★ ★ ★ ★ ★ My partner booked a couple of nights at Canyon Court Motel. I didn't have any major expectations about the Motel. But Hey! We stayed in room 8. The unit at the Motel looked more like a 5 stars Airbnb unit. It has a nice comfy bed, fast Wi-Fi, TV cable, nice clean bathroom with a heated floor! What a treat for my feet, a small computer desk, A/C, a kitchenette with microwave, coffee maker, plates and cutlery, pans and pots, a half-size fridge/freezer and a hot plate. The hotel manager was nice and friendly.
BTW: The town of Nakusp is very charming and has several restaurants options with a couple of coffee shops. We'll be back Nakusp.

Day 2, beds are comfortable, and the kitchenette is well equipped. We like the quality and friendly welcome!

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Pleasantly surprised by the lovely setup in this very discreet motel. Not sure all rooms are the same but #5 had a separate bedroom with a queen bed, and in the open area another double bed and full kitchen with table, chairs, stove, fridge and dishes. Bathroom recently renovated. Highly recommended and we would stay here longer next time.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ The Canyon Motel was a very pleasant surprise. On a last minute trip to Nakusp, the only thing we where able to book was the last room left here. We were expecting an old bathroom with like yellow tub and nothing special. Wow where we wrong!! When we walked into our room we found it to be large (for the smallest rooms they have too) the place is extremely clean! I could not even find one crumb of sand on the floor.
We also where greeted by a nice little kitchen area that was VERY well out fitted with many kitchen accessories and even a hot plate as well as pots and pans.
The Bathroom is fully re done and it felt like the floors where maybe heated. The tub is large and has amazing an massage shower head. We ended up have nice relaxing baths after our exploring all day . It was a really nice surprise.
They have a check in of 2pm which is nice because since Covid haven’t found one til after 3pm. When I called at 1pm to ask what time check in was and was told they would make it work so we could come before 2pm. However we ended up going out for the day and have a super smooth check in at 7pm.
The manger or owner was friendly and left us to be as well though. There is an amazing view of tips of the mountains from the Hotel and easy spot to get to Hot Springs. Thanks Canyon Motel for making our last min trip even better! The Canyon Motel is a great surprise!

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Always will call Canyon Court first to see if a room is available when I'm staying in Nakusp. There's dedicated heater/air conditioners in most (all?) rooms, and actual kitchenettes. Everything is renovated and always clean. ?

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ The rest of the reviews are accurate! This place is very clean and comfortable. Check in was easy and the man we checked in with was pleasant. The rooms are a nice set-up. The prices are very reasonable, and we will definitely stay again when we come to enjoy the local hot springs.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ This is not a five star motel but I give it top marks within its category because I was impressed with the attention to care and comfort, the owner made.
The 2 bedroom suite had great heat--separate controls for both rooms. Good quality cookware. Nicely done bathroom with modern shower. Full fridge. Quiet area. Feels safe. Accommodating manager-- when we requested an additional stay he shuffled things around so we could stay in the same room. Very kind! Full dresser. Nice space!! Walking distance to a trail to the lake.
