Why put something on special and don't have it on stock.
Had to buy elsewhere. Very disappointed.

Several other items on my shopping list were not located where their app said they would be and (after looking and waiting for a store employee) couldn't be located by staff either.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ From my experiences at this store, here is my honest opinion. Just brought my truck to them last week because it wouldn't start. They were honest with me and said they didn't have time to look at it til wednesday or friday. I brought it to them monday anyways. The truck went inside the garage friday afternoon, like they told me, and monday afternoon I got a call that it was fixed. They certainly didn't over charge me like some canadian tire stores do and the truck ran like new. When I went to get the bill to pay them, I waited at an empty counter for around 15 minutes. Some times when I go there it's hard to find an employee to ask for assistance but when you see one they are very polite and helpful. At other canadian tire stores there are employees in back ailes playing with their phones, but not in Lachute. It's almost impossible to have a perfect store with perfect employees. I have been in a lot of canadian tire stores for many years and this one is one of the better ones I've seen. Also their mecanic caught a problem with my truck that my usual one didn't see. So I can't complain.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Realized not all Canadian Tire stores value there customers. I wanted to return a booster pack that was bought at another store. The return was because I was not satisfied with the product. I was returning the item in its original packaging, basically unused and in my possession for less than a week. (I charged my phone twice) Ironically the gentleman that went before me had just returned an item from the same store that I had bought my item. clerk seemed peeved that 2 returns were from the same store and said she couldn't accept it as the packaging was opened. I had one of the managers come over and he began to chant that I hadn't used the unit properly, yet I had followed instructions that were clearly visible on the outside of the box, on the booster pack as well as in the manual but contrary to what the manager said.
Long story short. Lachute CT doesn't seem to know their products nor do they seem interested in customer satisfaction. I packed up and left with a bad taste in my mouth.
2 days later I stopped at another CT (Buckingham) and the return went smoothly and was even served with a smile. Needless to say where I will be spending my money.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Got an oil change here, the mechanic couldn't figure out the anti theft system (it's really not hard when you have the keys) and couldn't start the car until I showed up again 45 minutes later. Also, my oil is low and it's only been 3 weeks since the change. The mechanic shop is a joke.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ A full-size store conveniently located at the business and shopping stretch right at the exit off A-50, easily accessible. The stuff is welcoming and listening to your needs, trying to accommodate your urgent requests. Clean and well maintained old-fashioned washroom. COVID measures are respected, too!
