c	claire travers on Google ★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Garden centre staff are very rude. 15 minutes before closing, a few female staff were yelling at everyone around saying “WE CLOSE IN 5 MINUTES”. Also, a couple female staff were pushing a large cart behind me and actually pushed me with her hand to get me out of the way.. she only said “move out of the way”. No manners. Terrible customer service at Garden Centre! Also they don’t even sell parsley
S	Scott on Google ★ ★ ★ ★ ★ The only good department here is the auto department. The rest are uncaring, rude and generally not helpful unless approached. Its common to walk in - spend half an hour walking around without being acknowledged and then stand in the checkout line while your cashier chats with a co worker and forgets to que up your transaction for you to pay.

So disappointed that the mechanics and management at the Collingwood store have lied and treated me so poorly. Do not trust their service here.

Initially i expected resistance from the counter staff but Derrek, at the counter, took more than enough time and displayed great patience with me to resolve any and all concerns i had with the product. Great service and a long time customer retained and satisfied. thank you Derrek. Please pass on my gratitude to him.

I tried returning the unit but they refused to refund me my money 2 days later because it was missing a piece. It was not my fault it was missing a piece that’s why I was returning it. They offered to exchange it or give me a store credit. I refused because I bought a new fish finder at cabelas for $80 less and they refused to refund my money. The store manager suggested to exchange it and then return it to a DIFFERENT CANADIAN TIRE STORE because they didn’t want to “take the loss”. When I said fine exchange it for a complete set and then refund me on the complete set they also refused and said that I was being a “fraud” which they said very loudly so everyone in the store could hear. I have never in my life ever been so embarrassed or upset in my life. I did nothing wrong. I purchased a unit with a receipt and it was missing a piece and they refused to refund my money. I called head office to complain but because they are a “franchise” they can pretty much make whatever rules they want. I tried to support my local Canadian tire in this precarious economy but they gave me the most abhorrent service I could ever imagine, of which I completely did not deserve. I will return my unit to a different Canadian tire and never shop here in collingwood again. The Canadian tires in the city I’m sure will be more than happy to accept my business. Never again. You should be ashamed of yourself.
