A big shout out to Greg at the auto shop (lindsay canadian tire) On a busy day, Greg managed to squeeze me in for a diagnostic on my car- right away! His customer service was impeccable and he was also just a friendly guy. I decided to book the appointment for the following Tuesday to have my car problems fixed at that shop BECAUSE of his awesome service skills. I paid a fair price, sent my car in at 10 am and it was ready for pick up by 3pm. Very very pleased with this location and I will continue to use canadian tire auto shop for all my car needs! ..of course I will continue to use Wilson tire for new tires because they rock too! But I couldn't be more pleased with the outcome from this shop! Highly suggest!

CT is overall a very good store, and I know every employee is very busy, but I want to feel safe in the store. A lot more attention needs to be made keeping customers faces covered with masks. Wearing masks below the nose gives others no protection. I won’t shop where masks aren’t monitored.

Friendly, helpful staff. Excellent selection. Had three different fellows assist me while looking for different things and none made me feel rushed even though they each clearly had a lot to do. Every question I asked was answered with instant and accurate information. Only comment might be that the aisles were a little crowded, making it hard to get around, and for that they lost one star. Definitely, my favourite Canadian Tire Store ever. Clearly, very very happy staff and happy staff treat their customers well

Ron and Luke in the parts department were very knowledgeable and helpful. Ron went above and beyond to make sure I had what I needed and that everything was working properly before I left. Best service I've had from an auto parts store in years. Keep up the great work.

Today my friend came in for battery warranty replacement. We are from Peterborough and he is actually an employee at the ptbo store. We came to Lindsay because it was the only store in the whole province that carried battery he needed. Wayne at the parts counter was incredibly rude. After explaining that his mechanic said he needed to replace the battery Wayne tested the battery saying that it was good. We explained that the reason it was showing up with the battery was good is because it had been put on a charger for multiple hours and driven 45 minutes after being boosted to get to Lindsay while charging on his alternator. Wayne continues to say that there is nothing that he can possibly do when my friend who works at a Canadian tire knows that he can still get his replacement battery even if it is showing up as good. For the record this battery is not good! It was 2 months old and not holding a charge overnight. After Wayne simply said bye I can’t help you my friend ended up asking for a manager which is something he normally doesn’t do but he was feeling so disrespected after this guy just shrugged him off. Thankfully the manager acknowledged that my friend actually knew what he was doing and knew about his vehicle and helped him move along with the replacement of the battery however, when Wayne went to retrieve the new battery he slammed it on the counter. My friend then asked for a replacement of that one because he didn’t know if something had broken which then Wayne goes to swear and tell him that it’s a bunch of BS and he was trying to get the new battery. I am very disappointed to hear of the poor customer service at a Canadian tire. It honestly disgusts me. Shoutout to the manager who came out to the parking lot and apologized for his behaviour…

Pretty standard for a location, But staff is less friendly than other locations I've been, ie: Ptbo,Courtice. Some of the younger garden staff seem to want to be somewhere else and aren't concerned with using their manners, "hello, welcome, please, thank you, have a nice day etc etc" It's almost as if they are being punished or forced to be there lol. Not liking your job is common, but if it affects how you treat customers and affects a customers likelihood of returning to or recommending that location you shouldn't work there. As for in store staff, majority are good, some are great. Most customer service reps are very good at this location however there's one older lady that is never in a good mood and makes the experience quite unpleasant.

I am a proud Canadian. I am proud of Canadian Tire. They seem to be the only Canadian store able to not only compete but to thrive in a market dominated by American retail giants and big box stores. Quality products. Great sale prices!

Always love coming here. Down to earth employees and always helpful. They truly value their customers...almost as if they're family. I support Canadian tire over Walmart any day and this store shows why. I wish Oshawa could learn a thing or two, maybe more from this store and how they're suppose to exercise customer service. I came in to return a gift I bought my parents for unopened box. No hassles, no issues...just friendly engagements which is why I'll always come here
