I was in Canadian Tire Hinton this morning and I was very poorly treated by managerial staff. This was by far one of the worst customer experiences I have ever dealt with. I don't know the managerial staff name it was a female managerial staff member with blonde hair. I was treated poorly and felt disrespected by this person hopefully they don't continue their bad attitude with any other customers in the store. Hopefully your day can get better, but if you're having a bad day but please don't bring your bad attitude with you.

Would rate a lot higher if it wasn't selling discounted food that was well over a year expired including pop with aspartame from January 2021!

Never have I been so discriminated against until visiting this store. I attempted to purchase a jug of coolant when I was rudely accosted by the cashier for not wearing a mask. Upon informing the cashier of my medical exemption, I was told I had to show it to her or leave. As her request was not legal, I informed her of the law and applicable mandates. The store owner/manager was then called. Upon his arrival, he informed me his public place of business was β€œprivate property” and that I had to leave. When asked what accommodation he was willing to provide me as refusal of service is illegal, he told me to order online. I informed him of the law, however he refused to listen and the police were called. I told him I won’t be giving my money to a business that blatantly discriminates against people with medical disabilities out of ignorance for the law and left the store. The owner and his employees have no regard for the law, human rights or the disabled.

I ordered boots online, they were in stock at the time of order. After waiting for a few days my order was cancelled. I called the help center only to be told it doesn't matter if they're in stock when I order as they don't keep track of the available number of items they have so they can be sold out at any time! Kind of pointless to have online ordering and to show online availability if you don't know what you have to sell! A very useless service that just simply shouldn't be offered if they don't have a means to track their stock for sale to their customers!

β€œMark” was upset I wanted to return a starter remote, apparently the plain cardboard box it came it was very important. Which I can understand. I appreciate he made the return for me. However, when he proceeded to try to mansplain what the remote was for to me he talked to me like I was stupid and just went in circles for a good 10 minutes about this cardboard box I was far from impressed. I appreciate I got the return but won’t be giving my business here in the future.

Upon entering the store we were surprised how dirty and overcrowded it was, you walk through the door and are greeted with stock piled right by the door and skinny little isles. If you had a stroller you would have difficulty maneuvering it. A few minutes in a manager yelled at us from a several feet away telling us we needed a mask. We told her we didn't have any on us, she told us to leave. My partner asked if she had any to supply she laughed at us and said "we go through 60 a day, we're out". I find that hard to believe considering it was a little after 1pm in the afternoon, and every Canadian tire store we go to (Whitecourt, Edson, St Albert) has them supplied by the door, or will give one if requested. While leaving, I saw packages for sale, so to kick us out without even the offer of purchasing them is poor management and we won't be back. I'm sure its Canadian tires policy to supply them. The fact that there are multiple complaints about this woman says something, hopefully corporate will do something to improve the next families experience.

Completely disappointed with management. Blonde lady with extra weight decided to push it around on me today. She came to me asking if I had a mask, I replied" havent worn one in 3 years she said I had to leave stating that the tellers were not to serve me. I said thanks for the communist actions, I will never darken your store again!! I spend 3000 plus a year at Canada Tire.....not anymore. Thanks CANADA tire!!
