The staff is very friendly, and the establishment is clean. They really help to make a scary situation comfortable!!! I would definitely recommend this place to others.

Told me on the phone I will have a free consultation while the doctor himself forced to buy a shampoo and a conditioner for $100 which I could get the same thing from outside for $20. Don't fool people for free consultation absolutely disappointing I was obligated on the spot to pay $100 for a shampoo I still have it n never used it once. $100 for a shampoo may God ruin you guys for making a fool out of people this isn't how you business.

This clinic is a heaven sent. I had no idea these places existed. I went to my family doctor who diagnosed me with low iron. He prescribed me an Iron supplement but it was not enough. These treatments helped with the hair loss and now that my iron is doing better I only come in once in a while.

Been going to Canadian Institute for years, and surprisingly I'm seeing good results. I was thinning quite a bit before starting, and now my hair/scalp has more hair coverage and doesn't thin as much. The hair treatments are not very expensive, so it's doable. I usually go once every 2-3 weeks.

Consultation was a very bad experience and the price was not competitive compared to other hair clubs. Be careful when you decide to change your mind as they hold up your money and it's hard to recover. I'll never recommend anyone here, please take your own precaution. Your response is completely a different version from what actually happened. You convinced me to pay the deposit on the very first visit and it was the next day when I said no to money grab, not after #9 days. You even threatened not to pay back my $ and paid only 30%. There are so many other places I can recommend before anyone wants to lose all your money. A honest reply would have been appreciated but unfortunately not in the best interest.

This was my experience in a nutshell. I would give 2.5 stars but, that isn't allowed. I will start by saying a very clean office and, a great location. Great receptionist and, office staff. My first transplant was somewhat of jarring experience because, I didnt know what to expect. The understanding I had was I will possibly need a second transplant for optimal results. There were some slight " "interpersonal " and hygiene issues that I experienced with staff while my procedure was being done. Because, I love Trillium Summerville and, have had nothing but, positive experiences, for about a decade, with all other specialists. I wanted to finish with who I started my transplant journey with. Ken Robson, is a salesperson. He makes it very clear he isnt a Doctor. However; he nickels and dimes everything. He also, offers " lunch" from where you'd like but, then while your mildly sedated he offers you dry sandwiches from his home, and high sugar and salt( cheap) foods ;despite any dietary restrictions one may have. I sent Ken Robson photos pre my second transplant with him and, he refused to show them to the doctor the day of my procedure. I was also advised by Ken "not, to tell" the other doctor that, Ive already had one procedure done at his office. Nonetheless; I proceeded anyway. Already, being a little on edge because, of Ken not showing the doctor my vision . They proceeded with this time felt a little more painful and, I became quite agitated they changed out heavy haned techs for, some with a " gentler" hand. The procedure was done in a few hours and, I just really wanted to go home. I waited the adequate time to get back to Ken post healing and all, and showed Ken that, my hairline isnt what I wanted. His response was to tell me" stop yelling" which I wasn't " that I should be satisfied, and Ill never be satisfied "and then he proceeded to tell me " well what I wanted will cost me another $3000 after getting $13000+ from me already. I believe Ken thinks he can skimp on service because, he feels he gives a " deal" . I ask you the reader " how much of a deal is worth your dissatisfaction"? I also believe that Ken and the doctors he works with aren't in tune with working with textured hair types. Personally, I would talk quality over quantity any day. In summary, I would definitely shop around before finding yourself in any kind of transaction with Ken Robson of, the Canadian Hair Institute . In conclusion; I was contacted today by, the very personable Gary Rodriguez who has informed me that Ken Robson, is no longer the proprietor of Canadian Hair Institute. What does that mean for me; not a whole lot but, it was nice to have a response to my review. I CANNOT speak on the work and ethics of, Gary Rodriguez and staff but, he did offer me an " open door" and was apologetic for my past experiences with Ken Robson. Well only time will tell, and I hope that the new owner's and staff's work will speak for itself.

My experience with the medical staff at Canadian Institute of Hair & Scalp Specialists has been great. I did have some hesitations at first, however the results have been positive.
