Excellant service. Had my vehicle towed there. They were busy but still helped me immediately, replacing the battery and side post outside in the cold. Vehicle had not been started for quite some time. They also plugged in my vehicle to help start it. Once started it was taken inside as there was a very low tire. They check all tires adding the appropriate air pressure. This was all done at a very reasonable price. Thank you and keep up the great work.

I went to see this people earlier today as i had buy a few times from them...they gave me an estimated of 5500 hundred dolars to change the alternator on my 2001 chev malibu...i came back home and called someone else who gave me another quote for way cheaper but when i called canadian energy back a few times and asked if perhaps the 5500 hundred estimate was right..they put me on hold for a while and when tried calling them never answer...Not Impresed!

We brought in our forklift batteries for service and after a few miss steps Austin really went above and beyond to help me out. I sure appreciated his time and effort and I would strongly recommend him to anyone. Thank you!

Terrible customer service. My dad went to get a battery and the guy that filled the battery was arrogant and rude. Then when my dad gets home he looks at the battery and post is bent and ruined. Obviously the guy who filled it dropped it because there was no damage on the box. So we drive all the way back. The lady at the front is on her phone and acts like my dad and I are a total inconvenience and interrupts my dad when he's trying to explain what's wrong. Then a different guy comes out and accuses my dad of dropping it himself, which he absolutely did not. He put the battery in the saddle bag of his motor bike. The bags are soft. There is just no way. So the guy takes the battery back and instead of getting a new battery just straightens out that one. When he brings it out he again accuses my dad of dropping it himself. Now I have to pipe in and advocate for my dad since I was there and saw no damage was done to it. Anyways, completely disrespectful. My dad has been a very long time customer there, as have I and we will not be coming back and will be telling others to not go either. Hopefully this battery that was dropped by them and then "fixed" isn't going to leak acid all over the place. Ridiculous. New ownership. Not the same anymore.

They have good customer service and friendly staff, however their brand of batteries are waste of money. Your lucky to get two years out of them. Just pay the extra money and get a optimum, or a battery from somewhere else.

I've had several good experiences with this business but very disappointed with the last one and the lack of fulfillment of the warranty. I'd had a new battery put in, used it for 10 months, the weather turned really cold and the battery failed. I took it in, they informed me it had frozen and therefore wasn't covered by the five year warranty. My point was, when driven regularly, a good battery won't freeze, and a failed battery will. They suggested in this severe cold weather I should take my battery in my house... As the owner of several vehicles and looking at the rest of Alberta vehicle owners, I don't think there are many/any??? taking their batteries in every cold night - especially since all my other vehicles/batteries survive quite nicely through the bitter cold, even when some are parked for months (RV) and without being plugged in with battery blankies and "smart" battery conditioners. It seems to be common sense - failed batteries freeze - either due to age or bad quality. In this case its a fairly new battery and it should have been covered under the five year warranty.

The battery in my car was quite weak so i decided to go to my "go to" place, Canadian Energy batteries for a new one. Spoke with a very nice young man who installed a new battery very quickly. I had no issues until I received the bill.$181.00 with the old battery as a core. Ive bought at least three batteries from this location in the past 3 years, and even bought 2 very costly 6 volt deep cycle RV batteries as well. The price Ive paid for regular 12 volt car batteries from them never costed more than 130 each in total. Today Im charged $25.00 just for the installation which took 4 minutes in total. Had I known they were going to charge anything at all for the installation of the new battery, I would have said no thank you and left to install it myself in garage. ( this is literally about 3 minutes worth of work) . Im usually not one to complain about this kind of thing, but when I got home 10 minutes later, I called the shop and spoke with Kit who was very flippant and unconcerned about my complaint. No options were discussed to remedy this issue as Kit was not prepared to offer a resolution of any kind. This certainly is not the Canadian Energy that im used to, and will not be returning unless I get some kind of satisfaction from them. Not only is this my loss, but it is Canadian Energy's loss of a very good customer. Anyone reading this review should never agree to allow this to happen to them, and if you still feel the need to buy a battery from them, be warned, $25.00 for 4 minutes worth of unscrewing 3 nuts is in your future. I will be contacting the head office to let them know about this, we shall see if it goes badly or not

My battery is in a rough position to reach so I appreciated their service offer - my appreciation waned when after 10 minutes or struggling with a clip they couldn’t get loose I was told they could not help me. The last helpful thing they did was boost the car to get it out of their shop. Terrible customer service and I will not be back.
