The initial quote when I was shopping around was $211 per battery and no core charge was discussed. Two days later when I decided on this product the price went to $225 per battery plus a $15 core charge but only if I had the core up front. Logistics made this impossible so I paid the $240 per battery and was told that if I brought the old batteries back they would recycle them for me. Most kind of them! Other retailers were offering a $27 core charge when new batteries were purchased from them but did not carry the Trojan brand I preferred which is why I went with Action. This suggests to me that the owner saw an opportunity to boost his profit margin by first offering a lesser core charge and then none at all to simplify things for himself. I guess integrity in business is optional when the opportunity to "Trojan" a customer presents itself. This business presents as competently run and is a well stocked store with access to quality products. The employees appear knowledgeable and are friendly. Management on the other hand......I'll let you draw your own conclusions. My suggestion is to tread carefully.....get all the numbers and details up front BEFORE ordering. Buyer beware!

Make sure to pick up a soda from the machine while you are here, and peek at the old safe. Team members were helpful and directed us where we needed to be - I really hope to return here, and would 100% recommend this Action Auto.
