R	Robert Miller on Google ★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Came here with our group and were not disappointed. Lots of displays to choose from. We really enjoyed the train and boat displays. We could easily wander around this place all day long. Then there are the live shows. Our little guy really got something out of those. Good information and aimed at the right level so he could be engaged with what was happening. Even the adults in our group had a great time. Especially reading all the information on the signs by each exhibit. We bought a few items at the gift shop and would love to come back in the future. If you like science and technology, this is a great family place to go. Should also work for a date night.

There were tons of things to do and see and we unfortunately didn't have time to do/see it all as we got there later. Definately plan to spend a couple of hours there in order to go through everything. Just a tip.... If you go there after 4pm, it's free??
B	Becky S on Google ★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Easy parking, large original train engines on display were the most interesting. Cafe was not open on Thursday, but probably open on weekends. Gift shop was nice with lots of options for younger kids.

When we arrived sign said to purchase tickets in advance but being from out of town (Nova Scotia) I explained that and they were kind enough to allow me to purchase at the door... didn't realize that veterans got in free (my friend was a veteran) so I paid for two tickets...all well...but had a great day....but definitely purchase tickets on line for weekend I was told get very busy.
j	jess Williams on Google ★ ★ ★ ★ ★ MY first time there ever and my son's as well. We had such a blast there. So many things to see, and learn about and look at, it keep us busy for a couple hours. If you are a teacher, or ECE it's free! There are other professions as well that are included. There wasn't a big crowd of people and it's so big and spacious it feels more comfortable and relaxed.

Was very pleased that it has reopened since Covid and most exhibitions were open except for one children’s interactive room. The smell of that training room brings back memories of days gone by,, not only in a historical Canadian context but especially on a personal one. And all those childhood memories school field trips here! Love this museum. An Ottawa landmark!
S	Saikat Sarker on Google ★ ★ ★ ★ ★ This is a very kids friendly place. They will enjoy each and every section of the museum. Moreover for them their is an entire section. For the adults, if you are interested in science and it’s history and want to see some prototypes or models of actual scientific inventions this is the right place to visit. Most interesting section is the soundless cube. You enter a place where no sounds comes in from outside and that’s an amazing experience. Will love to visit again.
