An impressive museum well worth the visit. the staff was effusive and so helpful. They actually like to help and it shows. A great place review your natural history. The only surprise was not a word of Inuktitut to be heard in the Arctic exhibition. How unexpected. It seems all the visutors should hear the sound of that lovely language.

Honestly the best museum I've been to. If you want a trip with your family it's the perfect spot. Tickets are cheap and you have soo much to look at. Please arrive at least 5 hours before closure to fully enjoy it completely. Also if you have an electronic car (EV) there's electric chargers on the right parking lot.

We absolutely loved our visit to the museum. We went on Saturday and there weren't too many people since you have to buy tickets ahead of time to go. We loved everything as usual, the only disappointment is that they no longer have the bug display room...we were hyped up for that one since it's one of our favourite exhibits. Hopefully it comes back. Thank you for a safe and fun visit!!

We only saw a few galleries because we didn't had a lot of time but we loved it. It is very huge and you need to have to spare atleast 4 hours to be able to see everything. Additionally, be able to walk a lot. There are lots of interesting facts and stuff to see. Although, there are only a few real things to experience and feel. It is still full of lots of knowledge and is really great for kids though. Come prepared with time, to walk a lot and to be amazed with vast amount of facts and knowledge.

An excellent & must visit place if you're in Ottawa. I simply loved this place since I'm a nature lover. They have different levels with different subjects like live bugs, fossils, birds etc. Buy tickets in advance, online to avoid last minute disappointments. It costs around $20 inclusive taxes for an adult. They also have a lot of interactive activities for all age groups. Can easily spend minimum 3 hours. A lot to see & learn.

We are huge fans of this place! We visit it every year and every time we find something that we haven’t noticed before. The territory is huge, with so many things to explore that you can easily spend 2-3 hours there. With the start of the pandemic some activities are closed, but it is still very entertaining for kids. It’s nice that it is free every Thursday after 5. I will definitely recommend visiting it!

I had never been to a museum before and I'm so glad this was my first opportunity. This is the best place and it's packed full of information. I loved all the displays and my most favourite was the mammals. They have a breastfeeding room complete with a changing station. It's very hard to find that now a days, the staff are very knowledgeable and super friendly. Thank you!!!

This place is so huge, with so many things to explore that you can easily spend 4 hours there or more. clean, beautiful, up to date. There are lots of interesting knowledge filled things to view and read about. Terrific place for kids: there are interactive stations everywhere... not just computers, but also a binocular station in the bird area, turtle viewers for jellyfish vs plastic bags, touching water creature station, real ice sculpture to walk through and touch. The staff are so approachable and so helpful. They actually like to help and do so with a smile. To add to its many amazing features, its also free every Thursday after 5. Memberships are available and a good deal if you plan to come at least 3 times in the year but keep in mind that will not include parking fees.also you may receive a discount if you're an ingenium pass holder. I will definitely recommend visiting it.
