Such Ignorance and Rudeness, I was thanking the guy and he hung up on me! I waited at least 1 hour so speak to someone and he cant give me 5 mins on the phone! Please hire people who want to work and not want to be rude and lifeless while answering the phone!

Locked out of my cra account. Call the 1800 line and get a very impatient and rude lady who requested a million addresses from me. I was able to give several but because I could remember one.... it must not be me. I've now attempted to contact the Hamilton office...where apparently they dont answer phones. Line busy and then dial up internet screeching noises the other 50% of the time I call. I just want to pay what I owe... but the cra is making this take wayyyyyy longer than it should causing more interest for me...if I could give 0 stars I would.

I’m not reviewing this particular location, rather the CRA as a whole. I filed my 2017 GST & income tax return on time last year as a lump sum accidentally. I’ve had the last 12 months or so receiving collection notices for something I’d already paid. They never figured out how to apply a credit to an amount owing and just turned it around to show it as an amount I owed. I’ve had cheque’s sent to me that I’ve had to send to the headquarters in PEI only to be stuck in the same situation. I am heavily disappointed in the way the CRA has nonchalantly dealt with my problem and it’s caused me an unbelievable amount of stress thinking I owe money on top of something I’ve already paid for.

i would like to give them a 0 star but this system not allowed me to do so.i am trying to contact them for last 15 days i called them regullarly after waiting for3-4 hours i am not able to connect with the the agent and they cut my call without saying a word. most wrost service by cra. totally unprofessional

I give them 5 star because I see the complaints from the people mostly who are either ignorant of the system or want CRA to waive their liabilities. People like the cheques from them not the tax bill. I am not working for CRA but whenever I call them they answer appropriately. Some agents are not professional, hang up the phone after holding for long time or transfer the call to someone again putting on hold. But, mostly they answer my questions. You expect waiting time like the CRA to any other call centers like banks, communication companies, credit card, insurance, etc. But, why are you surprised of waiting time from CRA? Now, they have a virtual assistance as well to answer most common questions, which is more convenient. I thank CRA for continuous service improvements.

Keep harassing me with notices about my student loan, even though they are aware that Im on CRB and had no employment for a while. First they said they will give me another half a year but continue to harass me like it will change my financial situation. Only worsen my anxiety and depression, thanks cra

Waited on hold with staticky classical music for 42 minutes. Callback feature was full. Despite choosing all of the correct triage prompts the agent says she’ll need to transfer me to the department that can get me a security code and places me on hold, where I have clearly been put BACK into the queue which is now an estimated 2 hour wait. For a simple code. But did you know that they are “now offering extended hours of operation?”(To account for their grossly inefficient processes?).

This Basu person that left a 5 star review has CLEARLY never had to actually deal with CRA, you probably had a question or two and they answered it. Try not getting paid by them when you have rent coming due and it's their fault for not dealing with your claim until a month later. "OH we are very busy with covid claims" NOT MY PROBLEM.
